On July 3rd the dining room was not opened so I used the drive thru. My order was short and when I brought the error to the attention of the staff they became abusive and refused to make my order fully correct. My receipt clearly reflected the error. Staff appears to be poorly trained and out of control. I would urge customers to avoid this location.
I've waited awhile to post hoping maybe it was only a one time thing. But worst service of any Popeyes I've gone to. They always get my order wrong and they're very slow. I recommend going a few minutes further to the one on Rt 31 instead.
I usually go to the Fox Valley Popeyes, but their short staff. I was close by and decided to get Two can dine on Butterfield location. I waited 40 minutes in line, but I understand short staff. The cashier took one order at a time. Keeping customers on hold while he's walking doing nothing. This is what I saw at the window while waiting when i finally got to the window to pay. Chicken was on the floor and he walk past by it didn't pick it up. The packer is packing all the orders and the cashier doesnt help only takes the orders and passing them out to customers at the the window. Another cashier came up and said to him I'm going to the dining room to clean. Where is the team work, if your short staff why is the packer only doing the work.I was told breast were extra ok so I requested 3 thighs one breast and a wing. Got home 4 breast and a wing. My red beans and rice were warm. Very disappointing!!! Now my question is when will i get a respond back? I had a problem in North Aurora and it took them over a month to respond back. I'm like fine I just won't go back and look what happens to Butterfield location. Will this continue or will corporate get out there and staff these stores and train them.
Horrible service!! Never ever the right order in drive thru .So aggravating.
Will never come back to this place, they took way to long to do the food, and the worst was the drinks, I clearly heard the woman asking for the drinks to the guy of the drive thru to “take his time” to do it (maybe she thought that I don’t speak Spanish, una total falta de respeto), so he didn’t gave me the drinks, he was just wasting his time doing nothing, then another member of the staff had to make the drinks. Please train your staff and hire people that have respect for others. This is one of the worst experiences ever in a fast food restaurant, and believe me, with the covid excuses isn’t easy to beat everyone being the worst.
The chicken is always good. Unfortunately during my last 2 visits they could not have the inside open due to being short staffed. This made drive through the only option. My first visit, about 5 days ago everything was great. Yesterday, I had ordered 15 minutes ahead of time through their app and still had 3 different people tell me through the ordering speaker that they needed to start to prepare my order. I then saw 2 people actually working and 2 others standing behind the front counter talking. There seemed to to be some confusion. They gave me the wrong sauce, and my chicken was not even fresh it was cold. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt due to staffing, and will try them again. Times are tough for all businesses right now and everyone deserves another chance.
Its was Very Pleasant, Courageous Customer Service, Friendly Workers, Clean Establishment! The food was Fresh, Hot, &Delicious ???? The Staff Does An Outstanding Job making sure the Customer are A Priority!! ??? They had quite A few Door Dash Orders while we waited on our orders, who were helped Promptly!!
extremely good service. such kind employees. my friends and i went and they were extremely short staffed with only 3 people working. a young man was taking out the trash and spilled it everywhere we felt so bad and then he starting about how there’s nobody working and how they are short staffed but still had the most positive attitude. the woman working the register was so kind and we ended up tipping them a good amount because of how kind they were. they even gave us a free fry. highly recommend this location give them some love!
As much as I want to give this Popeyes the benefit of the doubt or keep giving it chances, they, most of the time mess up my orders. I ask for dark meat, they give me white. I ask for fries, they give me mash potatoes. I ask for mild, they give me spicy. If you go through training, which I hope they do, how can these orders be messed up all the time? I try to check my order before I drive away, which today I did. I asked for fries and they gave me mash potatoes. I was able to get that changed but I get home and they gave me spicy when I asked for mild. Come on people. On top of it all prices went up and you still get bad service. I want to stop going there but I love Popeyes chicken and it's so close to home.
I went to this location a few weeks ago & the female manager is such a rude & uncooperative employee. I ordered a side a fries and she would not let me get a side of Buffalo sauce with my order. I offered to pay for the sauce since she didn’t want to give it to me as a complimentary sauce for my order. She refused to sell it to me and said that the sauce is only given with chicken orders .Todays visit was just as awful. I placed an order on the app and the lobby doors were locked. That Popeyes line was long! They disconnect the phones so you can’t call either. I asked why the lobby was locked and they said they’re short staffed. We proceeded to the speaker and the guy says he’ll have our order as soon as he can. We pull up to the window and wait about 2 minutes all for him to hand us the wrong order. We’re still at the window looking through our order (since we don’t want to get in drive thru again) As I was checking it I opened all the boxes and proceeded to grab a fry and he says “WAIT GIVE IT BACK”. It’s the wrong order. I had already touched the food and he continued to say to give it back… He TOOK THE FOOD BACK and then gave me the correct order. I checked my order again and see that the wrong sauces are in the bag so I asked him to switch them and he hands me the wrong sauce again. So then I ask him to switch it again. I understand they’re busy but come on. Clear your head and get things done right to run the drive thru smoothly! They really don’t know what they’re doing in there… It’s not running functionally. I will not be going to this location again. ??♀️
