Last couple times I’ve gone have not been good. Either have forgotten taziki sauce, given wrong salad dressing, forgotten toppings, and/or horribly undercooked fries. They call it a gyros platter with 2 pitas but it’s barely enough meat for 1. Also have had to wait over 20 mins at the restaurant for pickup after them telling you the order be ready and come in at a certain time. Overall it is less expensive, but at this point there are other places that are maybe more expensive but worth the price.
The employee’s are so friendly here! The food is always prepared well and taste’s great! One of our favorite spots for a quick bite since moving to Illinois?
They need to listen better. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a small fry and a medium Diet Pepsi. When he read it back, he forgot the diet Pepsi; so I reminded him. Again, he repeated it back again saying medium Pepsi; I told him again that it was diet Pepsi; he states; “yes I got it, Diet Pepsi”.When I go to pick up an order he has my chicken sandwich and the drink but no fries. So I ask him “didn’t I order fries with this”? He says “no you ordered the chicken sandwich and the drink.” “If you want fries, I can make you fries”. At this point i’m thinking, “why did I even come here, if I have to keep repeating myself”? I never had to do that when George owned the place.
Slow slow slow and non communicative. I waited 25 mins for my order and when I asked them about it they hadn't even started it. Said another 20 mins so I left. They act like you are priveleged to eat their greasy food and should wait an hour for it with no complaints. B-bye!!
Placed a phone order. They said give them 20 minutes. Food was ready in 30 minutes. Papa G's was pretty busy at the time. 7 people were waiting. The wait didn't bother me because how good the gyro and cheese fry were. Totally worth the wait. I can not wait until I return and try something else on the menu.
I cannot believe the owner would not show up early to heat up his oil and get his business ready because he opens at 11 am. Yeah I waited 33 minutes for gyro. The gyro meat was of high quality, however I didn’t get the The sign that offended me that said I am not your mom clean up. ImBetween the mom sign & having to wait just under 45 minutes for a freaking sandwich, you guys decide.
The food here is so delicious. And prices are fair. Love coming here
Ordered a gyro platter with 2 pitas, disappointed to say the least food was cold, fries weren’t fresh or seasoned got a lemonade and just tasted like water, seems like no one cares about the quality of food anymore..
I wouldn't never go back here rib tips do not be fresh left over all they do is rewarm them up you order a gyro you have to pay a dollar for the sauce which is b*******
Run away over charge if you are black Americans. I ordered a Italian Beef sandwich charged 9.95. White guy came in order a Italian beef meal charged the white guy the same price. I contacted the manager informed to come back to receive a 1.00. I WILL NOT RETURN THE COST 7.95 STILL OVER CHARGED THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUS CONTACTED
