If you live in Aurora, IL do NOT get food from New China Hut at 3015 E New York. I opened my Sweet and Sour chicken and had a nice little visitor floating in the sauce. I contacted the restaurant and they refused to refund me. I have been a customer there for 20 years. After putting me on hold rudely (just dropping the phone on the counter), having conversations with the female employee who repeatedly said “no” over and over; he then argued with me and wanted to come and pick up the sauce…which is fine…but then told me that he is only going to give me a discount on a future order. I protested and told him he’s treating me like I’m running a scam and I have been a customer for 20 years with no issues ever. I asked him was my $38 order worth losing a 20 year customer over, because I will never order from them again based on his response. I worked in the restaurant industry for years, these things happen and aren’t overtly a reflection of the cleanliness of the restaurant overall. I was willing to give them a chance if they properly addressed this. His exact words were “don’t worry about it, our business is good. We don’t need your money.”…which is ironic because the pending charge is now $52 on a $38 order…and they shorted me egg rolls. Share this post and don’t eat out of this disgusting restaurant.

This was my1st time at New China Hut. I placed my order and the owner told me to sit down. He gave me my food to taste and it was delicious. He gave me the option to taste the food and to give my opinion. 1st impressions along with good food wins me over every time. I thought $8.10 for a small shrimp fried rice was a little steep but I like the service

I honestly enjoyed their food and their service. Young man handled my order over the phone was easy to talk to. Was told my delivery would take 35-45 minutes, got to me before 30. Ordered the S&S Chicken (come w/white rice). That was still hot when it got to me. And i ordered Gen Tso's on Lo Mein (I ordered it a little spicy) that was quite good, not over saucy which is something that always happens and I don't like. Had one of their Strawberry Smoothies (no tapioca) and it was honestly perfect. Only thing i would critique is the lack of veggies in their LoMein noodles, but im not going to take a star off for it. It was great ??

UNPROFESSIONAL DELIVERY DRIVER. FLAVORLESS PAD THAI. WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE.I ordered online to get dinner ordered because I didn’t eat all day and I was finishing up work. I left a note as it stated to about delivery and asked they leave food at door and don’t ring the bell because I work from home. I even left two notes on my door saying I work from home so please don’t ring the bell and just leave it at the door. I also left a 25% tip hoping that would be ok.The driver rang the bell once. Then when I didn’t answer because I was on a call with clients she continued to ring it 5 more times in a row like an anxious and angry child. I was extremely embarrassed as my clients kept asking what was going on and became very angry that the call got interrupted because I had to open the door to tell her to stop ringing my doorbell that I was on the phone with clients working. I left two signs on my door saying that!! She said she was going to take my food back because she’s scared of dogs. My dogs were in a different room barking and not even near the front door. What the heck??! I was fuming! I told her to just leave it. And ran back to my computer to calm my clients down.I finally was able to eat and the Pad Thai was awful! No flavor. I even asked for it to have some heat, but still there was no flavor. Chunks of eggs and no lime. It sucked!I use to order here a lot, but after this experience I will never order here again.

Owners are friendly and food is very good quality.I go most of time to eat launch special. Good price and great quality food.

$18 for small orange chicken (mostly fatty pieces) & vege fried rice. Threw it in the garbage ?️.

The food had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Ordered crab rangoons, pot stickers, pineapple chicken low mein and some rice dishes, all of it was just awful. Complete waste of money. Do not eat here.

I would not recommend this location. The prices on the menu dont matter, he just charges whatever he feels like when you get there and then claims their prices changed. Plus, the customer service is bad, he always seems irritated. Try River street location instead. I've never had issues with them.

I phoned in my order, and the guy who answered was very short with me and rude. I picked up my food and asked for extra sauce. He ignored me and while I was speaking…was already helping the next customer. Horrible service, and not great food..especially for the price!

Good, just wish the fried rice had bean sprouts.
