Half the Tacos were not what I ordered, the other half the meet was like I was eating rubber. Out of all of us wich we were 4 one kind of liked his order none of the rest of us were satisfied. I don't know what happened we used to go there often and we liked to eat there but now it has had a down fall. I told the waitress that we were not satisfied. Taco truck next door had good tacos.
My family and I came here on Easter Sunday. We used to live in Aurora, but about 2 years ago we moved about 50 minutes away. Still, this remains one of our favorite restaurants, especially for Mexican food. Our service and food was exceptional! The food came much quicker than anticipated, and our server had memorized all our orders without needing to write anything down even though my parents had some special requests. The prices were also very reasonable.I wish we could’ve gotten her name, but our server wore large glasses and was definitely deserving of the tip we left her!!! My family and I left feeling very satisfied and full.
I got a pork torta . It’s was ?. So good, they just didn’t put enough red sauce with my order but all good.
I ordered 1 tripe , 2 cabeza and 1 langua , the tripe one it was chewy the cabeza didn't have salt or flavor same as the lengua I don't and they only give you 2 of the tiny cups of sauce like for 4 tacos no! And they want you pay at head if you order true the phone if not they won't make your order until you pay
Not like the restaurants they have in Chicago, the Al Pastor meat is not what it should be, the Carne asada also didn't taste right, moldy bread for their Tortas, not going back
Always hits the spot especially after a night out with the family
Sorry flavors of tacos were off, the salsas bland, and for the price of 3$ a taco, you'd at least expect a full size tortilla , not a mini . Sorry, but Comales used to be better. Alot of better places then this one.
It was my first and last time.. food was bad I didn’t like the taste. Guacamole no flavor, no limes, I like my tacos whit lime, it was bad.
This used to be my favorite Mexican food place in Aurora. NOT ANYMORE! Me and my fiancée came a few nights ago and ordered guacamole. Enchiladas plate, and a torts dinner. It took about 20 minutes for us to even get the guacamole which by the time we witnessed the manager through the kitchen window on the food prep line with his mask off digging in his nose handing out finished orders and scraping dirty plates all at the same time and all of this with no gloves. We will never be back. We informed our waiter about it and told him to cancel our order which he did. And explained why then we see the manager slip his mask on and look around. Smh to make matters worse while we were leaving one of the waitresses tried to bring drinks after waiting nearly 30 minutes and literally tried to chase us outside telling us we had to pay for drinks we never even got to touch.
It was my first time eating here. Not knowing Spanish or the ingredients of the food, and that I'm not into very spicy foods. The waitress respectfully explained the menu and food to me. At that time, I was the only white person there. Yet I felt welcomed and encouraged by such respectfully service in a personal manner. It made the reasonable prices seem more precious. I encourage you to go there and judge for yourself. Then maybe you can give Los Comales Aurora a more deserving review than I am to put upon paper.
