The service was great but the food was not good as I remembered. I was really disappointed and feel that IHOP is going down hill. Prices are higher (as thry are everywhere) however if the quality of food goes down, that's why ratings will not be good. My turkey was fried on a grill which dried it out. Just not good.
The service cooking was slow today, we were seated in back and could smell the bathroom. When our food finally got to us it wasn't hot. The best part of our visit was our waitress she was very nice.
Handicapped parking and building access. We waited 10 minutes to be seated not because it was crowded, it was empty but no one sawr us staving there. Food and service were very good. But I guess you have to announce yourself when you go in. It was kinda weird. The Orange juice was very watered down. Not as good as it used to be. Ashamed. We like going there. Not sure anymore.
This place should be avoided at all cost. Extremely poor management, had more then enough staff but service is still super slow. Floors were slippery, bathrooms dirty, and had to listen to the servers talking about how they take their showers to the cooks. Not always open during their stated hours, plus been there when you are asked to wait with only a few tables being utilized, again staff was more then enough based on experience. This last time they made mistake on my bill and stated it is only a couple dollars off, fine then that will come off your tip... I use to come here all the time with great service, not sure where they went wrong. I could keep going, but they already wasted so much of my time, doesn't even deserve a one star.
Our server was great. Tables were clean. Seats were comfortable but the food was trash. It's like they dipped everything in oil and then slapped it on the plate. My scrambled eggs tasted as if they came out of a carton. My husband's over easy eggs were swimming in oil. Pancakes tasted terrible and we're very dry
Seriously not impressed. Floors are cleaned with dirty greasy water (greasy floors). Food took forever and others seated after us received their orders before us. Could not seem to keep our glasses full to save their lives. I ordered the fried steak smothered in gravy which had about a tablespoon of gravy and had to ask for more. They spilled drinks on the floor and tried to give us sticky drinks. Pancakes were nasty. They were powdery not to mention they were cold. The butter wouldn’t even melt on them. The booths were sunken in and very uncomfortable.The guy who was cleaning the tables was taking utensils on the table and putting them back into the utensil containers. So gross! Make sure to bring your own dose de rant wipes for your table and bring your own silverware. So grossSo obvious this IHOP is not serious about being in business. Also, I am so tired of “because of COVID” we cannot offer you a quality product or service. Better idea, take my business someplace else and never return to IHOP. Go to Sugar Grove Cafe. More bang for your buck.
Honestly it would be a good place to go if there was enough staff to run the place. The waitresses have been very nice and helpful but with only 1 cook, the service is SUPER slow. I feel bad when I see them all stressed about the situation and having to turn away people. Shout out to them but management needs to work harder on getting more people hired (Promotions, open interviews, flyers, ads). The wait time was 20 minutes which doesn’t seem long but there were only 2 tables seated. Once we got seated we waited about 1 hour to get our food. Like I said this place can be great but for now, unfortunately, it’s better to head somewhere else.
This location needs better management. It was 2 of us, 3 tables occupied but they took 2 hours to attend to us and we spent a whole hour waiting and nothing. No drinks. We had to walk out and find another spot to eat because waiting 2 hours when there’s only three tables is just ridiculous.
The family seated and ordered immediately before us received their food, finished eating, and had their ticket before my husband and I got our food. Another family who arrived and ordered us after also received their food. We were just about to give up when our food came (45 minutes). Apparently the kitchen did To-go orders before ours. It seems like our ticket was lost in the rush. It happens, but not the best experience. Only taking 1 star off because the food was good and the server apologized. We may try again sometime.
The service is very bad. They made us to wait 2 hours to get our breakfast. When literally the restaurant was almost empty. Lees than 20 people. The restaurant is not clean and the waitress Jade took too much time to gave us just our drinks and the coffee was cold. I really don’t recommend this place. We are never come back here.
