I’ve been searching for a decent Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood for three years. I finally found Yen Yen. The food is wonderful and not greasy which is a common fault in Chinese restaurants. The service is great, and the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. I LOVE it here. I wish some of the dishes were spicier, but I’m not complaining.

I've been there three separate times for lunch in the last few weeks, and the service and the food has been great each time. My go to meal is their vegetarian lunch special, it has the smokey taste of being fired in a cast iron wok. It has been presented a couple different ways, and each time it is tasty!

Ordered shrimp fried rice and fried wonton for dinner . Fried rice was yummy , shrimp was fresh and cooked well . Fried wonton is okay and plain .

In years 2000 - 2005, I frequented Yen Yen where I was introduced to the most delicious egg roll of all time. It’s so good that, in the year 2022, I decided to look for Yen Yen while I was visiting my hometown. Well, I was not disappointed!!!I found it even though I’m pretty sure it used be across the street, although my memory isn’t great and it was dark outside. At any rate, I found it, went inside, got the egg rolls, talked to the owner or manager and told him how much I love his egg rolls and how no other egg roll has compared.The true test was my husband. As a fellow lover of Chinese restaurants established over 20+ years ago, his opinion matters.I am delighted to tell you that, for the first time in my life, I introduced my husband to a food he not only likes, but said it was, “on par with New Star.” That’s basically a 99% out of 100 for him.5/5 Stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Came in with girlfriend . Been meaning to try it. It's dirty and not pleasant atmosphere. Right when we sat down the waitress asks to check if we had our wallets. I know we look young but really? That was annoying. Ordered a sizzling soup which was decent. Ordered the yen yen special which was so mediocre and somewhat inedible. The beef was disgusting. The deep fried Wontons were a complete joke. At least the soup was good.
Have been coming here since the opening. Has always beena fav of the family. Since moving out of immediate area cannot visit as often as we like. Due to our schedules here most often here for lunch. But would often come for dinner especially for some kind of family celebration.Lunch menu has super selections. Egg rolls are a fav and often taken home as extra after meal also fried riceAlong with excellent food havenever experienced any problem of any sort with service and the servers always very pleasant easy to see they enjoy their jobs.Only current negative is we are not able to come as often as we'd like...and Joannbeing semi retired we're not able to see her as often. We feel it's best in the area..
