Right inside the amazing Mitsuwa Marketplace, plenty to do! We tried their Gyudon (Japanese Beef Rice Bowl) with a soft egg. It came with miso soup as well. We also added on a fried oyster. This was my first Gyudon and I found it delicious, especially with that SUPER runny soft egg. The miso soup was pretty good stock, though I would have wanted some bigger tofu chunks. The fried oyster - OMG - so fresh. I was expecting a chewy nugget in the center covered in batter. No. It was still a super fresh and runny oyster with a light batter.Would happily come back and chow down on other dishes here.

I got the maze-soba. The noodles were thick and chewy. The sauce was okay, it sort of tasted like furikake; I'm assuming it was some kind of dried fish stock or something. What I didn't like about the dish was that there was way too much garlic and chives. The flavor and fragrance were super overpowering and unpleasant to eat. The serving size and price was pretty fair though. I've never had maze-soba, but overall, it was just okay. Perhaps I can try some of their other dishes because I know it's a pretty popular spot inside Mitsuwa.

Pretty good food, except their portions definitely got smaller and they wouldn't give me hot water unlike the udon place.

Every time I go eat at this place, I never leave disappointed. In fact I always leave with a full stomach and a happy grin.

So good! Their gyudon took me right back to Japan, it's like I was back there in a Nakau. And I hadn't realized how long it's been since I got a decent croquette. So good.

They even don't have very basic item of miso soup. You may want to avoid this place. I am serious.

I visit Tokyo Shokudo for the grill Salmon. On 9/25/21, I ordered the grill Salmon and requested that the skin be removed. The cashier typed the request in the system, I get home, and the grilled Salmon still had skin. Please check the order before bagging, since customers cannot check their orders.

Food was good but not great.Fried chicken cutlet and pork cutlet bowl.I can’t call it dry, but also can’t call it juicy.⭐️3.8 out of 5PS. Ask for extra sauce

Got the #42 - would be muuuch better if they cut back the salt in this curry base. Also they are quite slow at serving food; I suspect there is only one chef making each dish in order. :/ Fix these and it could be 4-star

I really enjoyed their shrimp tempura soba, and my husband liked his pork katsu curry. Not sure why the reviews are so negative.
