Still a great place for Chinese food in the north West suburbs of Chicago.But this time, it felt like the chef made a few changes and the food was not up to the amazing taste I was always used to.Definitely worth trying.
This restaurant is clean the lighting is so nice and warm and the seating is perfect I went with my girlfriend friend to have dinner and the waitress who helped us was extremely friendly and very professional and nice I appreciated all that she did for us that evening and we are coming back soon I could soon I highly recommend this restaurant it is restaurant it is great quality food and is such a nice place to go on a date just such a nice place overall

This restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. everytime I want to go to a decent dinner, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. excellent and food and a large list of dishes.helpful crew, and good spirit. And very important, the expence is reasonable. I praise this place with no doubt.

Simply put, whether or not you are aware of the complex differences between delicious "authentic Chinese food" and "somewhat tasty Americanized Chinese? food", upon tasting ANY-thing from the menu or specially ordered here, your tastebuds will immediately awaken you to flavor ecstasy!......seriously, no joke. In addition, the staff is all about making hospitality among their top priorities. This is as good or better than it gets here in the Midwest and quite possibly anywhere in this bountiful Country. I highly recommend Sun Shui. Enjoy confidently.
Where to start? The food is fairly good quality but at that price, what should you expect? It's hella expensive and the beef isn't anywhere near 'steak' quality beef.My main gripe with this place is that they do not offer any type of modifications (unless it's adding or removing spice). I tried getting a dish earlier today with a different meat substitution and was told the Chef won't do that. Whether it is because the Chef is not competent enough to follow a modification of meat to a recipe in front of him - we will save for a different day. I was told they would not make it because "they do not think it will work". That's funny, because literally every single other Chinese cuisine will make a Beef and garlic sauce work except this joint, because apparently it only works with pork.Regardless of all of this gear grinding, if you want a straightforward meal with straightforward service, nothing outside the box then sure this place will probably fit the bill.Otherwise go somewhere else where they're not afraid to think outside the box and try new things. These kinds of "inward and introverted" ways of thinking definitely rub off on you sooner or later if that's where you're revolving around. I have moved on to different avenues with better palates + adventurous.
