This place was very good. I liked my ramen. It was very filling and affordable the last time I came here.
Authentic Japanese restaurant with no pretension. Place is small and doesn't have the restaurant name outside. Inside is a walk-in counter with all the menu where you order and pay for your food. I ordered the salmon deluxe size bento for $15 which I say a very good portion for the price. I also tried the octopus karage which I like and for dessert a mochi rice with red bean paste inside wrapped on bamboo a leaves. Definitely will be going back to try other items on the menu.
Delicious ramen and overall food. Had the miso butter corn ramen and the depth of flavor was amazing. The saltiness yet creaminess of the broth with the chewy noodles was much appreciated. The agedashi tofu was also good, the crunch of the outer layer but the tenderness of the tofu after biting into it, too good not to have.
This is a definitely a hidden gem in this area. I would recommend the mackerel with the bento. That’s what my boyfriend ordered and I was jealous of his meal. I got teriyaki chicken and the ginger pork, but I thought both the chicken and pork were dry and flavorless. The mackerel was bussin’ tho. The takoyaki was delicious too!
Picked up for the first time from this place, it’s small & hidden…. But quite frankly, one of the best places for sushi. I will be returning!
It was my first time at this quaint Japanese restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed. The service was friendly and we were pleased with the menu options as well. We ordered a coupe of different ramen bowls and all 3 of them were delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and well combined ingredients! We were able to control the spice level as they provided the sauce on the side. We’ll surely try some other options on the next visit. It’s a little tucked away in a small strip center so be sure not to pass it up and stop in for for a delicious meal.
It was a good meal. We went because my partner was really in the mood for Katsudon. They very much enjoyed it. Got the large but said "I think the small would have been perfect" because there was a little more rice than the portion of pork.I got the miso tanmen with fried tofu and enjoyed my experience.
Amazing and delicious food. Unique menu items.
this restaurant is really the hidden gem.. there are several japanese restaurant in this area, and I tried most of them but no restaurant could beat this place's quality and price.. I'd like to recommend ramens but most of other menus are also really good.. even small bento is great. I like donkotsu ramen most. Many of other restaurants' chashu has some weird meaty smell, but this place cooked it well and soups are not too greasy but just flavorful. (I know 99% of restaurants use pre-made sauce for ramen but I believe each restaurant's elaborate effort makes big difference also.)
