Fantastic brunch spot with a great outdoor patio and lovely interior space. Definitely worth booking a table ahead if you want to sit outside (at 11am on a sunny Sunday zero wait for indoors and an hour wait for the outdoor table). I had an avocado toast which was lovely, my friend had the short rib hash. The French toast latte was amazing (I had it iced as it was a warm day). Will definitely be back!
Incredibly good food! Highly recommend! his is my third visit and I've never been disappointed. While I would LOVE larger portions, I had the good fortune to speak with Grace Goudie, the head chef. She explained the two factors behind the potion sizes. 1) Health - most Americans incorrectly view larger portions as "standard". Portions at Scratchboard Kitchen adhere to FDA guidelines 2) Cost control - all ingredients are sourced locally vs. mass production.5/6 - Another great meal! Although they have switched the menu to spring offerings, I was able to get one of the last servings of the BoHo Hash from the winter menu. I would describe the winter fare as hearty comfort food, yet somewhat delicate as well.6/4 - I've eaten here six times in five days (breakfast and lunch on Thurs, 6/2). I can not say enough about how delicious the food is. Even the simplest of dishes (Truffle Grilled Cheese and the Everyday Classic Bacon and Eggs with potatoes) have an intensity of flavor and freshness that I have not found anywhere else.
First time at Scratchboard Kitchen. It was a wonderful experience! Our waiter Nico was top notch. Answered all our questions. Brought everything timely. From our lattes to all the excellent food , it was a delight. The eggs were so fresh. The sausage gravy was delectable. The biscuit , so buttery. I highly recommend the restaurant snd the very special waiter. Made my Mother’s Day spending time with my daughter and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere and lovely food.

Stopped in on a lunch break and had the Truffle Grilled Cheese w/bacon and a side of potatoes. The grilled cheese was good, but not so good that I would order it next time. The person I was with ordered the short rib hash and said it was very good. I might try that next time. Potatoes were a little bland and served with a side dipping sauce that helped, but again, I would most likely order something different the next time. The restaurant aethetics are very good...cute restaurant, very friendly and prompt staff and we were seated right away. Also ordered a matcha latte, cold, w/oat milk that was very tasty! Overall, I would give it another shot and try something different on the menu.
We really enjoyed our experience here. Our server was so knowledgeable and continued to check in without being overbearing. The food was delicious, and was sourced locally, which made it even better. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Also, the potatoes were phenomenal, and would highly recommend ordering them.
A favorite go to for brunch or a morning coffee and pastry get together. Their menu is amazing and always love the seasonal menu updates.Definitely worth the wait when there is a line but highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, specially for a larger party
Food was delicious and the cold brew coffee was amazing. I may even stop in just for their coffee sometimes. Can't wait to come back and try more menu items. Great service too.
Innovative, creative and flavorful dishes can describe all menu entries. Loved the experience. Try the soups. Both entries are exceptional with the mushroom base immunity soup truly remarkable.Great drinks menu from mock cocktails to nice wine picks and some interesting beer choices as well. Try the coffee with lions mane mushroom base.
The food here is so delicious! I really love their chicken sandwich, it is so fresh from the bread, veggies, dressing, and up to the chicken, it is very tasty, and really worth to try. It is made to perfection and will serve to you with a creative plating. Their service here is really fast, the food is still hot, and always fresh. They have a big portion and reasonable price. All of their food here is mouth-watering. They also have baked goods such as pies, biscuits, waffles, and others. All of it are really worth a try and very delicious. They also have unique food that will literally surprise your taste buds. Really amazing selection of food. Their beverages are also awesome and can really make your body feel cool. You also must try their drinks. Everything is exceptional! Their staff is very nice, decent, and professional. They talk so decent, they assist all of their customers the whole time, and even answering to some questions. They really know how to treat and serve the customers so well. They are very nice. All of their staff really did a great job. They literally made my experience happy and better. Can’t wait to come back again soon when I am in the city. Scratchboard Kitchen is the best!
