Have been here many times. Burger not up to the usual quality and taste. Seems like it may have been premade frozen. Fries were different too, very few and not as good as regular wedges.

5/2022 5* Only went inside to pick up my order. Staff was friendly and great. It was a cool Friday night so everyone was inside. I got a Corned beef on rye (tasty) and the Loaded Pretzel Bites. The Pretzel bites were ok. Nothing to write home about. I would not do them again personally. But nothing wrong with them. The sandwich on the other hand was fantastic. Plenty of meat, hot mustard was great. Rye bread was tasty. All in all a very great sandwich. A little pricey for the sandwich, but all in all it was worth the trip over and exploring a new restaurant for myself.

First time here. My husband got the fish and chips. The fish was meaty and not greasy. The coleslaw was very good. I got the Jameson salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked and so moist and flavourful. The garlic mashed potatoes went perfectly and the vegetables were not overcooked. I cleaned my plate! This is conveniently located by the Metropolis theater with a parking garage located right around the corner. I did have a glass of red win, they have an impressive drink menu. The waitress was outstanding. We requested separate checks on a large party and she took it in stride and got a good tip for it!

Great food and a great atmosphere. What more could you need? I highly recommend the mashed potatoes as a side.

This review is solely based on service because we were never approached to order food…We walked in on a Tuesday night around 6:00pm. The restaurant didn’t seem very crowded. The hostess seemed irritated when sitting us because she tried to insist we sit at the bar, but we wanted a table. We finally get a table in the dining room but we were sat right next to another pair of people, even with tons of tables open.We sat for 15 minutes and no one even approached or acknowledged us. A waiter came to the table next to us multiple times with their drinks and food and never acknowledged us or spoke to us. After 15 minutes we decided to get up and go and take our business elsewhere.

If you are looking for a good meal and a properly poured Guinness, this is a great spot. The food menu is Irish inspired American eclectic. The drink menu is a great selection of imported and domestic beers, wide selection of whiskey, and mixed drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and rustic, and the staff is friendly.

It is a very nice casual spot. They have all your typical bar food with a few special items on the menu. I had the Burbon Burger; it was very tasty! The atmosphere was nice and chill. I went during the day on a Saturday and for a bar the music was at a nice volume i could actually talk to my friend and not have to yell over music, in Chicago that is a common problem. I will definitely be going back.

Celebrated a friend's birthday with a small group of people and the service was great. The appetizers were really tasty and filling. I had to take half of my dinner home since the portions were so generous.

This was the best fish and chips I've ever eaten! Plus this place has a lot of great rare whiskey to try. This is now my favorite place for great fish.

This place has great food and service to match. We had the burger, Shepard's pie and fish n chips and all were highly rated pub food at our table. The place was clean and organized and the restroom was clean as well.
