There were only seven people in the entire seating area when I came in and I waited 8 minutes and did not get served or waited on. All I wanted to do is place an order for two items to go. In the entire time not one of the employees behind the counter even looked at me or said we're busy we'll be with you or anything of the sort. Worst service ever. And when I came in a couple with a little kid said.. good luck! We've been waiting 15 minutes haven't gotten our ice cream yet. And at these prices? Not worth it!
Oberweis Ice Cream is a wonderful treat. They have friendly employees, and delicious treats. I had the Turtle sundae and enjoyed every bite. Also a good place to take rest and cool off.
Disappointed with the service. I purchased two bottles of Milk first time at the store. One bottle was totally spoiled. The staff was also strange and they were requesting a tip for buying a milk. If it is for a milkshake or ice cream, adding a tip is understandable but, buying a milk bottle I don’t think so. It was very bad experience with the service as well as the quality of the milk.
Best ice cream in the area. Daily made waffle cones. Fresh fudge, tons of different chocolates and caramel candy. All very good. Flavors change with the season. Enjoy the ice cream there and take the rest home.
Over the past year the take home ice cream at the Arlington Hts , IL location is not like it use to be. Chocolate peanut butter is in just one big solid ball of pb usually at the bottom of carton. And chocolate Carmel hardly has any Carmel until you get to the bottom of carton.The ice cream is sometimes freezer burnt and outside of carton has a frozen condensation and ice cream on the outside of cartons.making the appearance sticky and unappealing.Have been getting take home ice cream for over 5 yrs but service and quality has gone down. ??
I was disappointed. I like their icecream and was expecting my milk shake to taste better. It didn't have a strong chocolate flavor. I have it 3 stars for the presentation. Whipped cream and chocolate straw. I wouldn't buy it again.
Got served three malts — the server took 20 minutes to fill my order and had ice cream going all over the place. Server couldn’t move any slower cleaning up the mess and JACK said it was ok!!!
I love this Oberweis location! Obviously, Oberweis products are second to none in Chicagoland so that's a no brainer but also, THIS location has the best hours.I live in Arlington Heights but work in the city and I can't tell you how many times I've gone to stores in city limits only to find they keep bizarre hours - so frustrating!!! Thank goodness I can always count on this Oberweis to be open when I need anything!
Favorite place to chill out with kids on a hot day.. everything tastes awesome. And they provide board games to play while you enjoy the shakes and ice creams.
Good quality ice cream. Friendly staff. Nice place to have desert with friends and families, especially if you like playing chess.
