Food is outstanding. Friendly people with great service. Definitely will go back soon!

The authentic Italian restaurant that Billy Joel would be proud of!The gnocci melts in your mouth. The cheese ravoli is delicious. Save room for the tiramasu. The best that I've ever had!The staff is very friendly. They welcome you with open arms! My fiance and I are regular customers. They welcome us and treat us like family.Plus, if you are planning an event, they are very accomodating. Great place for a date. My fiance and I had our first date there. It's located in a small strip mall. A real hidden restaurant gem!

Delicious food friendly staff !!

We always like J&Gs. Traditional Italian menu. Food is always good. We had chicken marsala, chicken parm and veal. All delicious. Gravy (sauce) is excellent. Good wine selections but skinny beer list. Cold by the door during winter. Wait staff is good. A little tight when it is full.

Had a wonderful Valentine's dinner with my fiance, Suz. Family owned. Loyal staff, friendly servers! And authentic Italian food. Only wine & beer!! No hard stuff.

First time trying this restaurant after living in the area for 6 months. Love it. I got take out but the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and has a family vibe to it.Excellent tiramisu. Can’t wait to dine in sometime.

Great service and good food at a descent price! Highly recommend!

It gives you a cozy Italian courtyard feel when you dine in and for the first time we did delivery a week ago and it was delicious!Everything was packaged perfectly and the food was still smoking hot when it was delivered. The portions are nothing short of what you get at the restaurant. We had plenty for lunch leftovers the next day

J & G has always been a favorite ever since a friend suggested it years ago, and it has always exceeded expectations. Last night (Fri, Jan 7, 2022) was no exception. The parking lot had plenty of space. The decor inside is distinctly Italian, and beautifully done. I felt like I was instantly transported to old Italy. The waitstaff were masked and friendly, and promptly seated us at a clean table. They put a new sheet of butcher paper on each table for each new family. The menu was not single-use, but you can look up the menu online and decide what you want before you arrive. That's what I did to save time. Among other accommodations such as vegan and vegetarian, there were also plenty of gluten-free options, which is a necessity for my boyfriend's gluten allergies. While we waited, we had (gluten) bread that was soft in the middle, crispy on the outside. Butter, as well as olive oil and grated parmesan cheese, were available for the bread. We heard the waitstaff as well as many customers speaking fluent Italian and English; a clear sign the food is good and authentic. We didn't wait long for our food to arrive: -Insalata caprese (gluten-free) -Chicken vesuvio (gf) -Chicken marsala (gf) -Chicken conca d'oro (gf) -Lasagna -Escarole soup (gf) -Minestrone soup -Garden salad (gf) -Pasta -Gluten-free pasta (gf) They had the gluten-free pasta brought out at the same time as the other pasta, but with a different server so as to not mix them up. It was our own family's fault for mixing up the gluten and non-gluten pastas. When we asked a different waitress passing by, she knew which was gluten-free and which was not. I was impressed and felt reassured that they take gluten allergies so seriously. The waitstaff were all very attentive. They even replaced our small tea candle after it burnt out, though we never brought it to their attention. They regularly asked how the food was and they quickly took away our dirty plates. All of the food was flavorful and homemade, came beautifully presented on each plate, and portion sizes were generous. The chickens were tender and moist and fully-cooked; you could cut the chicken with a fork. The soups were hot and nutritious, with the broth being the most irresistible part. The lasagna's cheese was perfectly stringy. The insalata caprese was wonderfully fresh and tangy, with the olives being not too salty nor the mozzarella balls too wet. The tomato slices were huge and firm. In fact, everything was huge! We took home leftovers only because we were so full. While we were eating, the owner and head chef Pasquale greeted us with a mask on, fist-bumped us, asked how we liked the food, and engaged us in a short conversation. We felt like honored guests and like family here. The bathroom was clean, well-lit, and functional. The only negative (if you can call it that) is that the escarole soup had an unusual flavor I had never tasted before. This was my first time trying escarole, and everyone else in my family loved it, so it's probably an acquired taste. We will be back, and hopefully very soon!
