Recently dined here . First plate my sister put food on and returned to the table had a bug. Showed the hostess who took the bug and said problem solved. Reached out to the manager who wasn’t concerned. Said that in some cultures that people eat bugs. Not funny. Contacted the corporate office and didn’t seem concerned. I will dine at other locations but not Arlington Heights location.
Delicious food. To get the best bang for your buck start directly with the steak and all the other meat dishes, don't purchase pop only order water, but drink very little so you don't fill your stomach with fluid, and finally go for dessert. Leave salads and soups out of the equation, you'll eat those when you eat at home the rest of the year. Thank me later.
Clean dining room. Decent selection of foods on buffet stations. I really like the baked beans. You can get honey butter to go with your fresh-baked yeast rolls. Big dessert bar. Nachos are really good. Nice salad bar. Decent soups. If you go for lunch it's really a pretty good deal.
Okay place for the price, come on for 12 bucks you cannot get a full meal at a burger place, but it is what it is, no service and NEVER add the steak, which is trash
Food is disgusting; Its cold, old, and not cooked correctly. The manager for the nigh was completely disrespectful when the point of the food were brought up. The bathroom was completely trashed; covered in urine and toilet paper; the trash cans haven't been emptied. You can tell after five minutes of being in this restaurant that its disgusting. They have lost my loyalty to them, and gained my disappointment and this review.
This place is relatively close to my home and I went there with my mom when our usual place was closed.. Went there on April 26th with my mom, and shortly after, google rewards gave me a survey about it.. they also asked if I had a receipt, I couldn't find it so I said no, but I found it now! Here you go, Google survey people -- here's the Golden Coral receipt without personal info (which you probably won't see, but sorry I couldn't find it during the survey). And Golden Coral people -- great selection, affordable price, friendly employees, etc. The meal was both delicious and looked great -- so I'm just sorry I was too hungry to take pictures of the food.. :( :)
Was super excited to visit since they opened it up for dining in. Very clean. Waitresses we're very attentive and polite. Used my senior discount. Had a variety of food that was fresh and delicious. As well as the desserts. Was not crowded after 2pm. Nice and quiet atmosphere. I can't wait to go back again.
I really enjoy the Golden Corral chain of restaurants. The food is pretty good for the price & there is always some free 'entertainment'!!!
First time eating there, but it left a great impression. The price is fair for what you get to eat. The sanitary precautions are well thought out too. I'll definitely visit again!
Good buffet food at a decent price.A variety from salad bar to pasta bar to Mexican bar also prime meat sliced to order like serloin steak and ham off the bone.
