We had the Black Seaford Pasta. The best pasta I've ever had! Delicious!
Was there last night for 6 o’clock dinner for 2 people. First stuck me in a corner that was claustrophobic. I moved to a 4 spot that the waiter didn’t like. When my guest arrived took over 15 minutes to be acknowledgedAppetizers took over 15 minutes and was told to be patientOnly attention we got was if I went to get our waiter standing at the barAbsolutely worse service I ever gotFood is no better than any number of Italian restaurants. Save the aggregation and go someplace else
From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left I have never felt so invited and welcomed into a restaurant. Everyone was so pleasant and so nice. Nick was very helpful and recommended a great glass of wine that suited my preference. I was met by other staff during my stay to take my orders and check in on me; they were all so happy and it made me feel happy too! I really had an amazing experience here. The food is delicious and the bread and olive spread was out of this world. I will be back 100%. I can’t wait till my next visit. They really know food and hospitality!
Everything from the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food was great. No fake Italian food here. Everything I tasted, I literally retorted, "it tastes like someone's grandma is in the back." HahaWill definitely be back.
One of the good and authentic Italian restaurants in Arlington Heights. I've already been here a few times, and each time everything was really a good experience, and I really enjoyed every single time I visited this restaurant. The atmosphere and vibe are nice and cozy. The servers were friendly and attentive, and they were very helpful whenever we needed them and would gladly oblige when we asked for something. In my opinion, and also based on experience, it is important to have a reservation because the first time we went here, we waited for like half an hour because the restaurant was full and we also wanted to dine in, but we did not make a reservation first, and in the end, we were still able to eat inside. Meanwhile, the food here is authentic and delicious. Every single dish I tasted from here is all wonderful, with really good flavor. We always enjoy the experience, especially when it comes to the food. From appetizers to dessert, the food is satisfying and the prices are reasonable for its flavor and portion. If you want great customer service and delicious and satisfying food for any occasion, or even just a simple dinner, I highly recommend this amazing restaurant.
We have been there before and expected another great dining experience, but what a major disappointment tonight. My husband and I had a reservation for 6 pm in celebration of his birthday. We arrived a few minutes before hand and were seated almost immediately. From there, it all fell apart. We were seated at a table that was so close to the bar that it seemed like our table was in the middle of the aisle. We waited for 15+ minutes and no one came to take our drink order or even make contact. A couple who was seated after us received their drinks while we waited. We tried getting the attention of the wait staff, but they walked right past us. We ended up leaving and headed to another restaurant in the area.
Smelled this place fe down the street.. even if it wasn't recommended I would've been drawn in!! Hands down some of the best food I've had in my life. I can't wait to bring my family when we are in town again. This place is a treasure to share with friends and family!
Carlos and Carlos is definitely a number one for my boyfriend Brandon and I! We try to come to this restaurant at least once a month if not more! Carlos and his staff are incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. We love not only the food but the friendly staff as well! Don’t forget to try the Penne farcita as well as their very amazing and classic Italian desserts!
Great atmosphere and staff! Overall, amazing value for the price. Highly recommend the lamb chops and salmon ravioli appetizer.
I’m posting for my mother and father, who went here for dinner a few months back. A family friend suggested this restaurant, as it’s one of her favorites, but if my parents were able to give this place zero stars, they would. Before they were seated, they asked the hostess if they were allowed to bring their own wine, to which they were told there was a corkage fee. They agreed to this, as it’s customary when you BYO. When they received their bill at the end of the meal, they were taken aback when they realized that each bottle they brought incurred a $45 corkage fee. They then questioned this amount to their waiter, since this is extremely steep, even for the fanciest of steakhouses. The server went to go ask, which resulted in the owner seemingly berating the server while gesticulating at their table. He then came out from inside, heatedly telling my parents “I’ll take it off your bill, but never come back to this restaurant”. When a seemingly edited bill came back, the $90 corkage fee was still present on the bill. My parents signed the bill, not wanting to cause any more drama. If there had just been full transparency at the top by telling them that they didn’t really want anyone to BYOB, that would have been fine and they would have left their wine in the car. And to be treated with such hostility was completely unprofessional on the owners part. They will never be going again and would not recommend it to anyone they know.
