I've eaten here many times and have never had anything bad. All the meals are delicious! The soups and salads are delicious and we love coming here. The service has always been extremely friendly and wonderful! Definitely one of our favorite spots to eat!
Went here for my birthday last year and I will not be back. Restaurant was ungodly noisy (no soundproofing), service was abominable (I actually complained to management), and our plates were below average in terms of quality and taste. Too, and this could have been the night...but the atmosphere was absolutely chaotic, which didn't much make for a relaxing dinner. I find it downright weird that everyone seems to like this joint. Go figure.
Seriously amazing!!! Everything was to die for!!!The B E S T bruschetta I've ever had!!Staff was all very nice and helpful.Food serving size was incredibly huge and left overs for days!!I wish I could give them 100 stars.Just left and already can't wait to go back!!!!
Cucina Bella is a perfect, classy local spot to frequent on a weekend evening. I took some out of towers here for a drink and a bite to eat. We were so impressed by their portion sizes and tasty cocktails.
To start off i would like to say the food is AMAZING.But a 5 star restaurant they are not. And most of this is based on cleanliness and atmosphere. Unless you count they only had half of the drink menu available.They have Parmesan cheese holders on every table, As most Italian restaurants do for bread and Olive oil. Before we were seated the table across from us had little kids, Now kids will be kids and they put their fingers in the cheese and ate the cheese off the spoon that was in the plastic bowl. Not a big deal, what is a big deal is that when the cleaned the table after the gusts left they left the cheese container there for the next guest to use.Having been in the restaurant business I addressed it with our waitress, she did change it out but her excuse for the ownership was it would cost more to have more containers for spares...I'm sorry but thats just cleanliness. Not to mention the garbage that was left on the floor for the next guest to step over.To whoever the owner is, you have a great thing going for you with the food, some of the best Italian in Lake and McHenry County. Please get it together with the staff and basic table hygiene. Oh, and if you could clean the vents, hide the vacuum, and move the fire alarm so you don't have to have tape over it (I'm assuming that is a nuisance alarm) that would be a plus!! Safety first.
EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE!! HUGE PORTIONS. The drinks were pretty good. Nice variety to the wine menu.
My family had our daughter’s bridal shower at Cucina Bella last week. All the guests were so impressed with the food and service, (as we knew they would be!) Personally, I have never had a bad meal there in all the many years we have been going there. It’s so nice to have a “go to” restaurant right here in town where you are certain the food will be great and the wait staff will be friendly and accommodating. Lindsey and Kim went above and beyond with their impeccable service. As usual, the food was perfect. We are an Italian American family and it’s the only place in the area where we really enjoy their food. I highly recommended having family gatherings at Cucina Bella. You won’t have a thing to worry about!
My mom hosted her wedding and a luncheon here, and it was BEYOND AMAZING. The food was great, of course, it always is! But the staff went above and beyond in a way I never would have thought of. Patrick and the bartenders, waitstaff, kitchen, were all great! They really show that they cared about us and did everything they could to make her day go smoothly and perfectly! I can’t wait to go back just to support this place that have my mom the best day ever! Thank you Cucina Bella and staff!
Tonight was our fourth visit at Bella Cucina and loved every part of our dining experience. The host and hostess were so friendly and accommodating. It got even better with our server Lindsay G. who was cheerful and so helpful with suggestions for entrees and liquid libations! Lindsay really made our time at Cucina Bella special. The food is delicious and so fresh. Love their minestrone soup.My drink was incredible with bourbon, blood orange juice, angostura bitters and brown sugar. I wish I could remember the name but highly recommended it along with the eggplant parmigiana (my favorite entree). Their portions are so generous. We topped our meal with the macro bites for dessert! The four of us loved everything we had. Thanks Lindsay and Bella ?Cucina.
I am super picky about my Italian food. We have been going to Cucina Bella for five years and also had them cater a Christmas Eve dinner. Atmosphere is lively and fun. We have never had a bad server. They enjoy being part of the Cucina family. The wine list is good. The food is over the top. Portions are huge. We have had most things on the menu and some of our favorites are the stuffed mushrooms, calamari, Eggplant Parmesan, all the veal dishes, as well as the pasta dishes. (build your own) Desserts are fabulous as well, but we never have room for them. Mom and Pop place and they care about their community and customers.
