I know a few restaurants here in Algonquin that have subs, but not as good as this spot. Even though I just went to this restaurant for the very first time, it does not feel like it because the sub sandwiches were so good. I am also glad that I stumbled upon this spot. It is a good thing that I drove near the place, or else I would not have been able to discover it. The place is clean, and it is not a big restaurant; it is small and more like a good spot for a quick sub. The service is great. The staff inside are very friendly and accommodating. The service is also quick. Their menu has a bunch of options for preferred sub sandwiches and more. The prices are also reasonable. I got the Italian beef, and it was huge, with a generous portion of beef. It tastes good too, and a single order is enough to make me feel full and very satisfied. I think it is very reasonable for its price, considering the portion and the taste of the Italian beef. It also tastes fresh, from the bread to the beef. It was just so amazing, and I will definitely be back.
Subs are amazing. Ownership/management is super friendly and welcoming. Best sandwich shop in town by far.
Food is always delicious ! Awesome drink selection as well. Loved the no masks for customers and employees ! Clearly this is a company that loves freedom ?? I’ll be coming here for now on instead of Jersey Mikes
The El Niño is by far one of the best Italian beef sandwiches I’ve ever had. I don’t normally do sub shops but this one was stellar. Definitely will be returning!

Exceptional sub shop. Hidden behind a pathetic franchise ‘deli’ facing Randall Road, and sporting one of the largest ‘open’ signs above the door, we visited this week and were just as impressed as our fellow reviewers here. Ordered a Paisan and a Badabing. Love this place, love the staff! Love the food! They have rewards program as well.
Great local place for sandwiches. It is a smaller place, but well worth finding them behind some other chain restaurants. Support local businesses.
Wow! So fresh, and so good. I'll be back when I am in the area next time. The place is very clean and the people are super nice.
I would like to add to my oridignal review that Bub's sub is in the building behine Macalister sub. Bub's sub is a much better choice better quality better tasteing.
Holy cow Batman! This place is AH-MAZING!! Just moved here and was missing my favorite sandwich shop when I found this gem. And let me just say this might be better then my hometown sandwich shop. The reviews are true. If you like spicy the El Nino and Firebird are hands down the subs I'll be back for. But I believe the quality of the product is beyond top level. The freshest ingredients!. But mostly I'll be returning for the employees!. The three behind the counter at lunch were so nice! Explained everything. Reassured my menu choice. Were quick and made the line move seamlessly! ILL be back! You all have earned a lifetime customer! I'll be recommening and taking family and friends here as a staple of sub excellence
