Best cold cuts. Huge cooler full of fresh made food to go. The lady making the food in the back is the best! Try the egg plant parmesan.. it's out of this world good!

Ordered a 6 ft sub sandwich for my grandson party and everyone loved it. Will continue to order from them

Today was my first time visiting this deli meeting friends for lunch. The tuna salad sandwich I ordered was too bland; it could have used some celery perhaps or a bit of green onions. My to go order,on the other hand, was excellent! The Italian beef sandwich was plentiful and with the sweet peppers, one of the best my husband had. The Italian sausage sandwich was very tasty and again seasoned just right and plentiful. I'll definitely will be back to try additional menu items.

Family owned Italian Style deli that's been around for years. Both hot and cold sandwiches, fresh salads, hot soup. The Italian dishes are great, I'm particularly fond of the Meat Lasagne and the Joey, which is a solid Italian Sub. Change up and try the Chicken Salad Sandwich, it's not Italian but it IS super tasty. And don't forget a Cannoli or a Cookie for dessert too.

Service, friendliness and food were all fantastic! I ordered lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs for take-out. All of it delish. I highly recommend!

Best hoagie in the Midwest without a doubt. For any East Coasters looking for a taste of home, this is the place you need.

So happy they are in business with iL Romano from Franklin Park, they have Romano has there Panzarotti and arancini + there famous sea food saladIt's a must stop for ppl who know "iL Romano"

This place is a hidden gem . Right off of lake street and 53. I’ve been coming here since I was 10 years old with my dad. Haven't been in quite some time so I decided to try it again. Well the experience was great. The owner is extremely gracious and polite , the lady preparing my food got everything correct and made sure that I had everything needed for my order . And then when I left 10 minutes later they call me to tell me that my card had somehow been double charged and that I was more than welcome to come back and get the cash or a gift card or put it on the debit card, he left the decision completely up to me. No only did I appreciate the honesty , but I also appreciated the transparency and ability to give excellent customer service . I have to say I’m impressed, and the food is just wonderful. I got the meat lasagna special with a side salad and piece of sausage …it truly is a wonderful meal. Great place great food great people. Give it a try !

Verrryy sad. An end of an era. Originally I thought that il Romano would be moving to Mario’s deli having a seperate restraunt inside. Unfortunately, Mario’s deli just sells their items and they look old and unappetizing. Sad because Me and my family would go to romanos ALL the time and they’re food, service, ambiance, and owners are amazing food was always fresh and great but it’s just their items are sold at Mario’s deli. Mario’s deli their food looks a little unapettising. It looks like the arancini have been sitting in the case for days.. not just their arancini but even the pastas and salads . They are not representing il romanos the way they should. However I give 4 stars for service and friendliness. I will give them another try for their subs and sandwiches
