Steak tacos and Lengua tacos were so dry and old looking, will never go back there again

Went there today and was really surprised at the price increase! Two burritos and two tamales were 27 dollars!

They didn’t tell me the consome de barbaqoi dose not come with barbaqoi so it was kinda frustrating to go home and not have no meat in my soup

These guys seriously have the best Gorditas I’ve ever had. They are a hidden gem in the Chicagoland area. Very affordable and very kind service. Will be coming back again and again and strongly recommend!

Nice customer service and delicious food.

That's so good

muy rica la comida el servicio es rápido muy buen trato

Phoned in an order during lunchtime. Requested a chicken burrito with chicken, cheese and avocado, cut in half and a side of sour cream. Nothing else. A simple order, indeed. I had the order taker even repeat my order back to me to insure accuracy. Took it to go as I didn't have time to dine in. Opened it up and right away saw it wasn't cut in half. Next, instead of the sour cream on the side, as requested, it was in the burrito. I'm lactose intolerant so I need to monitor how much sour cream I can ingest. Not possible now! Thirdly, the chicken was extremely dry and hard-like cardboard. I didn't have time to request a new burrito made to my specifications as I was on a short break. Needless to say I was very disappointed.Fast forward a few weeks. Thought I'd give them another try. Ordered the identical burrito. I repeated it twice to the order taker and had her repeat it back to me. I was confident that this time it would be problem free. Picked it up and AGAIN got it wrong. This time they put in lettuce, and tomatoes! I never even mentioned lettuce or tomatoes! Also, the chicken was dry again. This time I went back in and waited another 10 minutes for them to remake it. Again, the chicken was dry. I gave my business twice to Gorditas Don Coco restaurant and each time they failed miserably. I won't be going back.

Small family run restaurant. I'm still trying to find the best Gorditas restaurant I can. The chicken and pork gorditas were pretty good, the cactus was a bit slimy like Okra. I think the pork could have been more agressively seasoned. The chicken was well seasoned without too much sauce before adding the salsa. Staff was very friendly. I ordered take out and the creation of the food was quick.
