Had dinner during the week and it was nice and relatively quiet. Service and food were great, I would only say the table chairs are pretty uncomfortable
Classic Chicago Pizza to enjoy. On recommendation we tried the deep dish Chicago (small) and that was more than adequate for the three of us. Pizza crust more like filo pastry - very tasty and to be eaten, not left on the plate. We had two different red wines (only 4 reds to choose from, which could have been better, and clips the star rating) Both good, but the Cabernet Sauvignon was easily the better wine.Service was good, smiley and swift, but waitress didn’t know they’d run out of soup until after we’d ordered it. Not a huge issue overall, as we’d definitely return next time we’re in Chicago.
S I M P L Y • T H E • B E S TWe had calamari for an appetizer and it was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection!!The PIZZA was an absolute win for my tummy—It was sooooo good and very filling!! It also made for GREAT tasting leftovers!!
First time in Chicago and the #1 must, to do on my list was get the infamous deep dish. I recieved a few recommendations from a few friends about Giordanos. I must say, I was NOT disappointed!! The pizza is very filling! Very flavorful and the quality was amazing. After eating almost 2 slices(Yes! Almost 2!! Lol)...I was ready for a nap? The staff is very helpful and kind as well. While I waited for my carry out order, It was so neat to watch how they made the pizza. I recommend this place! Trust me! You will NOT be disappointed! ??
We've gone here for lunch a couple times and it's a great option. The prices are just right. I like to try out their combo meals and am always happy with the quality of food. The service is probably the best part though. We are always greeted with a kind smile. It's one of our favorite lunch spots.
Very disappointing experience. I ordered 1 deep dish and 1 thin crust pizza last night. When I got home they were both deep dish. Unfortunately, my kids only eat thin crust. When I called they offered to make me a new pizza and told me to pick it up in 40 because the kitchen was busy. They were not very apologetic or didn't seem to care that the inconvenienced our dinner plans. 2+ hours after my original order was placed I finally sat down to eat with my family finally opened up the box of thin crust and found an extremely undercooked pizza. At this point we just cut bait and threw in a frozen pizza for the kids. It was a very busy night and mistakes happen, but this was a pretty lousy experience from a customer's perspective.
Everytime I'm in Chicago I try my best to stop by a Giordano's location. And everytime they never let me down. I got the deep dish pepperoni and garlic cheese bread and both were amazing!! Traveling or local im certain this is some of the best you can get!!
The food was OK we ordered the deep dish pizza the crust was not as I guess greasy as you would like it it was rather dry. I will have to say that our waiter was fantastic on top of drinks very very nice and happily in a good mood. Probably won’t be going back since it’s out of our way but I wish I grab the waiters name he was amazing he was a Hispanic gentleman
Picked up for dinner and placed the order ahead of time. Staff was extremely friendly and happy. Order was done right. This is the first time I had thin crust. It was good but I think we will stuck with the deep dish for future.
Yuck! I forgot why I disliked this place in 2018. Overcooked pasta in watery Alfredo sauce, undercooked chicken, undercooked broccoli, and a $2 charge for a small serving of bread w/ no butter. Bad!
