Just want everyone to know what they may be missing this place...we went to Dapper's Rest (Addison) for dinner..From the moment we walked in the door..so enjoyed the food til we left ...it was absolutely perfect..our waitress could not have been better. Nor more attentive. Excellent..Enjoyed it all..Give them a try..you will not be disappointed..as we were very pleased..
We have been going here for over 30 years & the food remains exactly as it was 30 years ago! The same amazing quality as the day it started! Large portions & made to order food at a great price. The chopped steak is amazing! The hash browns with cheese & onions are the best anywhere & the cakes are amazing! We pass by 20 restaurants to come here. Try it and experience the quality of the food!
My family and I have been coming here for 20+ years. They have a huge menu with many dessert options. Friendly service and an overall very nice family restaurant. I had the red velvet cake and it was delicious.
Nice clean restaurant. None of our food when it was served, was hot. Must have been setting out waiting for our waitress to bring it to us, even though there was others there to help. Baked potatoes were not hot enough to melt the butter that was put on them. Steaks were tepid, ribs were cool and very dry. Desserts were sweet but not a lot of flavor to them. Will not be back.

I just had a skillet with hash browns cooked to perfection. Not burnt, not undercooked. Perfect. The side of French toast was a perfect substitute for the normal "toast or pancakes." Phenomenal! 100% will have repeated return visits from me!
Such great food——-delicious and wow what a portion! They don’t skimp here!!! Everything was fresh, hot and wonderful! Really great wait staff and the owner is so nice! Great job on an amazing breakfast—-off the chart!!
In town from West Virginia for the bowling tournament. By far the best dining experience and food of our stay here.. Delicious!! The staff was very nice and informative. So much food we had to take it back to our room.
I rarely write reviews, however, I felt the need to for this experience. The workers are nice but the food is awful. I had a skillet. First off, the skillet had two or three types of cheeses on it. Two of the three SLICES of cheese were completely not melted. Secondly, the skillet was really just a bowl of barely browned hash browns. Lastly, the skillet was suppose to have onions, ham, and mushrooms. I had a little onion and ham, but literally counted only TWO mushrooms (might I add that they were canned mushrooms too). Honestly, I am not very picky, but this skillet was awful. I took a few bites and was done.
