The food portions were large for the price and their milkshakes were a bit hit with my kids. The food was mostly great (the banana muffin has an especially great flavor), but there were just a few things we'd likely not get again (chicken fried steak and hot hamburger, mostly because the gravy wasn't great and is on both meals). Overall, we'd definitely go back. Everyone was very kind and the service was excellent.
In Twin Falls on business, asked a local for a good local Mom-n-Pop cafe. Norms was not good - it was MARVELOUS! Not to totally oversell, my husband's burger looked (and he said tasted) good, but nothing to write home about. The fried chicken dinner however was INCREDIBLE...waitress said it was indeed deep fried, but it was reminiscent of what my Mid-Western mother pan-fried. Topped it off with a slice of homemade chocolate cream pie, which again, truly tasted like it was out of my childhood...which was a long time ago, when pretty much everything was made from scratch. I'm already scheming reasons to make another trip to Twin Falls so I can have another meal at Norms!
Stopped in first time with wife and daughter, usualy we go blackbear. The food here was not good at all. We ordered chicken fried steak (greasy and gravy tasted like flower), chicken sandwich with tots (frozen chicken with no flavor on a bun, boring and tastless) and a cheeseburger with fries (Burger was cooked to death, Fries were old and cold with a burnt oil flavor). the tots were very crispy and good. Waitress was very unatentive and a bit rude. Place was full of locals and that was nice but they definatelely received the service not us. If your a local its probably a much better experience and you would know what to order. If your not a local you may want to try another establishment, i know i will. Hope you have better service and food than we did.
I love eating at cafes. I got pancakes for my girls thinking they would be small, 3-4 inches. Nope, they were bigger than my head. Lots of good food at a great price.
They've out done themselves by far. Sure wish they'd let us put more then just 5 star's. Oh wait here we go!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plus the other five. Let's keep those stars coming. Thank you for a great breakfast and great coffee ☕☕
Absolutely awesome food! Family run, busy, fantastic service, and great prices! Busy because of ALL the right reasons! ????? ! But please keep it a secret lol! I want to be able to get in again and again!
You get a nice size helping of food for a decent price. Their finger steaks are big and their roasted pork is good too. I didn't particularly care for the stuffing that comes with the roasted pork dinner because it was salty.
I have been to Norm's several times . Always good food , never been disappointed . Recommend to anyone for a home cooked meal .
Cinnamon roll was extremely dry. Biscuit had lots of flour on it still. Ordered eggs over hard, came over medium to over easy.
Excellent food and service. Homey, friendly diner with reasonably priced food. I had hashbrowns and gravy, my husband had eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes. We will be back!
