Worst experience of my 54 years of living. After being told the room was 118 a night and charging the card the manager calls me back downstairs after all contracts were signed and says he would like $165 a night I explain to him that all contracts are legal and binding! Then the night just progressed to get worse from there. I ended up having to call the police department and letting them know that the front desk were belligerent and telling us to leave as we were trying to The manager on duty Derek who was ducking us all around the property… We had an appointment at 10 PM to see him at 12:23 we were still waiting in the lobby. Needless to say we did not stay the night we ended up going back home to a house that had no electricity and was very cold. It’s quite a shame this was a place that was right up the road from us and have decent food but unfortunately for them we will not be spending any more money there. I would not have written this recommendation if it had not been an invitation street from the hotel. Heed my advice as I will quote the Post Falls Police Department find somewhere outside of Post Falls to stay there is never anything good that happens in a Post Falls h/motel. Lesson learned. My personal experience expressed in my opinion no I do not recommend.
They have great food and customer service
I hate to do this but this "hotel" left me with no choice. 0/5 stars simply because they are scammers. As I comb through the reviews on here and google it has become apparent they charge people regularly for things they arent supposed to. They also charged me a 40 dollar charge that had nothing to do with the room. They didnt tell me they were charging it, and I found it after we checked out. I called them the next day to inquire about it, and the lady I spoke with at first told me she couldnt find it. I pressed and she continued to look, and said she didnt know what it was for and that the manager would call me back shortly. He didnt. I was going to follow up until I stumbled upon all the reviews and realized this was seemingly in fact intentional? Never mind that the expensive rooms are obviously dated and need to be redone. Dont let the lobby fool you-its the only updated part of the hotel. The front desk gal I encountered was also NOT friendly. I hate writing bad reivews like this, but seriously, STAY AWAY. Stay anywhere else. Sleep in your car. That way the chances of you getting stolen from drop as compared to staying here.
The staff here is among the worst I've ever dealt with. The gentleman at the front counter was extremely rude and insulted me and the amount of money I had, and completely belittled me. I called and reported him and the sales manager Kelly, said sorry and Essentially didn't even listen to me or anything. They could have at least offered some sort of voucher to help towards another night or something but no. I will never stay here again and will continue to tell people how terrible this place is.
We were not expecting our hotel to show?its age and deterioration as much as it does. The elevators and the halls and the rooms are quite beat up and in need of repair. Some of the hotel rooms actually have paper room numbers taped on the doors. Our room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the interior is in good repair. We have stayed here several times over the past 20 years. We were surprised by the changes in interior design. The yellow, blue, orange, retro look was clean but a turn off. It reminded us of being in a McDonald’s. But we were tired so settled for dinner in the hotel restaurant. We ordered a prime rib sandwich with fries and the browned butter spaghetti squash with salmon. The taste and presentation of both dinner was excellent! The best fries I have ever had! And the squash was indescribably delicious. All I can say is a good food critic needs to give young chef Cody major props! We can’t believe the service and meal. Shocked and delighted!!!
Really cool place to stay. Didn't get river view room but still nice. Staff was really great.Would love to go again.
We were treated with great care. Everything we needed the employees were there with smiles and willing to help. Beautiful area. Worth staying there.
For the price and quality of service I got at the restaurant and hotel staff..I give 5. It might need updating in some area's but everyone there was accommodating and friendly. The Alfredo served that night was delicious. Even my picky 17 enjoyed it.
I was in Post Falls for surgery and our previous hotel fell through, so we needed something at the last minute and stumbled upon the Red Lion. Even with us showing up at the last possible minute, they went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure I could be close to an entrance so I wouldn't have to walk far after surgery. They were seriously amazing. We could not be more grateful for them. The view of the river from our room was gorgeous, the food was incredible, and the rooms were very clean. I went for surgery, but I would go back to visit Post Falls just to stay in this hotel again and rent paddleboards or kayaks for the river. I can't say enough good things about this place. It was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone!
I think they are trying to scam us. They won't return our money that we put the room on hold with. Over a week now we have tried to get a hold of a manger. They wont even call is back. Stay away, you will be glad you do.
