The wait was long, as is everywhere else, I think they only had two people working but they were friendly and did a great job with keeping up with the customers. The burgers and shakes (if you like old fashion thick milkshakes)
This one was completely as a by- standards POV having reluctantly accompanied a friend as they ordered through the drive-thru. At first glance it appears past due for a makeover, the primitive ordering board, the small comm system which on a windy day makes it almost impossible to be heard and a pushy staff who seemed like taking a moment to glance over the menu would be unacceptable we made our way to the window. Now Paul Bunyan's has always been known for a superiority when it comes to waiting times however, this order was filled rather quickly. On a peculiar note the tips cup, a literal styrofoam empty cup with tips written on it taped to the window almost screams we don't make enough money help us as I've yet to see it at any other drive-thru or fast food facility and let's face it although a little less expensive than most it's not exactly a service that I deem tipping as fashionable for and considering the wait time almost anyone could just reach in and take it from them. That said Paul Bunyan's has been around as long as I can remember and even my friends who are doctors have started their working lives at this facility but the unfriendly vibes and rushed order compounded by not being able to hear clearly made the visit awkward at best. On a side note I had stopped by to get a shake a week prior I believe it was a Friday or the weekend and the entire place was closed I presume due to staffing as I do not remember it ever being closed any of the seven days a overall their food is decent in the fast food sector comparable with perhaps zips or other not-huge conglomerates it does boast longevity and has three locations one in Post falls (Idaho & Seltice), one in Coeur d'Alene (S NW BLVD) and one in Hayden/Dalton Gardens ( N GOVT WAY). Stay Classy CdA.
The hamburgers and ice cream were yummy! The fries weren't so good. The service was good and friendly, and the wait wasn't unreasonable for fresh food. The floors and tables are so sticky though! I would go there again as a drive through, but probably not to dine in.
Nasty! I was a regular customer eating here twice a week for lunch. Found a long hair right on top of my salad. When I asked for a refund the manager said no. They could have at least given me a new salad
Paul Bunyan has a good burger, not great but good. They have great fries though. But what is really great is the price.
This place has gone hill since I've became an adult. 20 years later and the food is NO longer the pride and joy they once held on to for great food. The chicken strip and fries is a joke. 2 1/2 inch long by 1/2 wide and floppy as a dead fish. Same goes for the fries. Service was great, food ill take a pass on and won't be back here ever again, this place reminded me of the housing market. Pay more for alot less now.
Great place! It's not fast food so you'll have to wait. The Hofzdrella sticks and their onion rings are their standout items. Everything is par for the course, but hey.Nothing wrong with a greasy burger. Tip the staff their working hard.
Not bad, not great. It took a while to get my meal so I would maybe try the drive thru if I ever go back. Not my idea of a famous burger.
They really need an adult working with all those kids. Seems as though they need more firm leadership. They spent to much time talking and give food to their friends that our food was cold and not very good.
Great family owned establishment. Fries tasted like they were quite dropped long enough last time I went but they were busy so nothing to get too upset over, it happens.
