Doma is my absolute favorite coffee! I had the pleasure of doing a training class there and I love all the passion the employees have for what they are doing. When you see someone else being passionate about their products you know it’s good. The training class was fun, and I learned so much! I now have a hard time drinking any other coffee ?
Most amazing quality of coffee since Europe! Authentic and true to the heart of what coffee should be.
Although the aroma of coffee was inviting when I opened the pouch, I was a bit disappointed with the taste. I have the beans (Carmela’s brown sugar, dark chocolate, caramel) I bought this morning at Coquette bakery. (roasted 10/19/21- best by 02/12/2022)I used French press method with filtered water I boiled from my electric thermos. I poured the filtered hot water into the French press pitcher, waited six minutes before I poured into my coffee mug.I didn’t taste any of the ingredients listed in the package. No trace of dark chocolate, caramel and brown sugar at all. What’s more disappointing was the coffee arabica taste that I’m used to having every morning was missing. What my palate experienced was a bitter after taste. Is it because I got a pack that’s a year old?I’m used to Storyville’s newly/freshly roasted not longer than a week.I also use Lifeboost Coffee. Both are satisfying as coffee defined!!!Sorry to be blunt. But maybe your roasting time is too long, hence the bitter after taste.Marilu PurinoBainbridge Island, WA
Had a cup of coffee and bought a couple cookies. I had just purchased a pound of Chronic beans in Moscow on the way to Kellogg. Nice place.
Delicious coffee. I had a Guatemala blend and it was just as described with warming spices.
We stopped here on our way to Montana from western Washington for a camping trip. This place deserves 5 stars. The gal at the counter was extremely pleasant and helpful. Answered all our questions and more and even helped us pick out a specific coffee bean to use in our french press while camping. Not only that but they ground the coffee for us and used a grind specifically for french press as well! We also got the cold brew and I had the honey whip added which is absolute perfection. Awesome place, awesome service, and the coffee tastes great. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!
Stopped in a few times and experienced great customer service with Roman, and a couple ladies working there. I recently ordered a short breve and asked that it not be too hot. The tall female barista and I laughed about the notion "who likes burnt milk"? She brought my drink to me, and double cupped it. As I walked out to my vehicle, I realized, even through double cupped that it was too hot. In fact, way way too hot to drink, sip, hold. I had to go to the market up the road a ways. I did some grocery shopping, didn't rush, and when I got back to my truck, the coffee was still a bit hotter than what it should be. I have enjoyed their Vito's espresso on occasion, but luckily, it's available at local markets. I have a coffee bar in my kitchen with a single group commercial machine, so I'm not paying only to have the barista do exactly the opposite of what I ordered. In this case, she's lucky she didn't serve someone lawsuit happy. This was scalding hot and there is no excuse for a barista working at a coffee roaster's bar to show such incompetence.
Smells so yummy and they have the best coffee beans or let then grind them so smooth and yummy
I only order coffee from DOMA, and I live in Colorado. I first discovered their coffee in a Whole Foods, and have tried the Chronic blend, La Bicicleta, but my absolute favorite is Carmela's. I order a two pound bag of Carmela's once or twice a month, but think I might switch to the five pound bag because it's the only coffee my husband and I really drink anymore (and two pounds honestly goes too fast in my house!) I wake up excited every morning, looking forward to my mug (and a half) of Carmela's.
The best coffee in the NW! Great, professional service in a impressively clean atmosphere.
