We went to Big Bear Deli in June and it's a new favorite spot! Everything is made to perfection and it's so nice to have lunch outside their restaurant. We will stop by again in July!

Had the special, shrimp poboy, a lil salty for my liking. A little on the spendy side for sandwiches. But overall not too bad.

Get the big bear sandwich with Russian dressing. You'll thank me later. Fast friendly service and been eating lunch here for years.

I should have rated this awhile ago. And if I did it would be a 5 star. I am able to get here 2-4 times a year since I live in Spokane and it is a drive. Used to be amazing and delicious. Owners were super friendly. I always come for the Shrimp Po Boi special on Friday. This last trip was unfortunate. Service was meh, I ordered one sandwich to go and one to eat there. Got them both in a to go bag. Had to ask for my pickle with my sandwich I was eating in with. Also the new owners have removed the bread pudding from the special. Ultimately makes the special that much less so. Overall this trip was not up to par for the many years I have been coming here, with the mess ups and no bread pudding putting a damper on the whole experience. If I choose to come again I hope it will be better.

Too expensive for just a sandwich and bag of chips. Food was decent but not for the price. They did an update on the inside with new owners, but for two people to eat it was $50, sorry but it's not that good. May as well go eat at the resort and get your money's worth.

What the heck you guys!! I loved to eat here but your standards are seriously dropping. I used to love your quiches. Big, fluffy pieces of goodness. I ordered one this morning and it was tiny, hard, and was coupled with random cucumber slices and packaged, grated carrots?? There was more of those side, presentation veggies than quiche.…don’t get me started on the corn chowder. If I wanted a thick, basically cold cream of chicken style soup, I could make my own.Super disappointed.

Today I ordered a Hog Wild from there and got home to eat it, I was so upset with the burnt bacon and the differences made on the sandwich. I called up there to bring it to their attention and was told..."that's how it is some days" .....WTH!!! And that was the manager that said that..I got so frustrated with the answer that I had to say thank you and bye! My wife called and said that shouldn't be that way if it's on a timer. So the the last stays to make different excuses from old ovens to it not being monitored properly... hello, somebody needs to talk to whoever works the ovens or something. Not fire because it could be an honest mistake. But when you go to a restaurant you don't cook bacon differently and serve it unless asked to. I felt totally disrespected by the answer after all the years I've eaten there, I can't anymore. And there was NO BBQ SAUCE in there. My dog ate some and looked at me like why you give me this. Miss you guys Tim

Great sandwich, nice quaint space, fresh ingredients, good service, gluten free bread/options, reasonable price, simple but good.Impressed first time visiting will be coming back again :)

Great sandwiches.Great service. Even the ice tea was exceptional.Thank you.

Going down hill. This was once such a treat every time you had it and now there seems to be some quality and value changes, evidently there has been a change in ownership. Portions down on sandwiches (meat) with same amount of bread means toasted bread with a little meat flavor (would rather see smaller overall with same ratio and keep same taste experience). Prices though are the same so paying the same for less. Homemade goodies like the coleslaw on sandwiches now tasteless store bought it seems or we got an ok batch. BBQ is now just a little pre-made portion put in the microwave to heat up. Perhaps still better than some places and that is the hope but seems like the end to the Big Bear era in Post Falls. Hopefully Midtown Deli is safe for a bit from change as that is now the sole go to vs. before we would alternate between both.
