The food was amazing, I had their asada taco, it was just the right size that one was plenty for me, their refried beans were really good as well, but I would have to say their chips and salsa were my favorite. Our waitress was amazing, she kept our drinks full and brought extra chips and salsa without being asked. I will be stopping there again the next time we are in Pocatello Idaho. Thanks for a great experience.
Worst restaurant ever!!! You called that Mexican there was no flavor at all. They couldn't even make a quesadilla how can you mess up a quesadilla with only two ingredients? The food takes forever to come. Also they over charged us 10 dollars over what the price should have been. If you have a lack of taste buds and have no place to go this is the best place to be it take forever to pay, to be seated, to order, for the food come, everything!
I'm a Pocatello native who FINALLY went to Senor Iguanas tonight. The service was friendly and timely and the food was tasty! I was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes!! We ordered three foot-long burritos thinking they would be kind of small but long. NOPE! Holy blasted buckets! I really think ONE of these burritos to feed my family of five! Safe to say we'll probably be back.
My twin and I chose to go here for our birthday dinner, walked in and it took about 5 minutes to be seated. We got chips and salsa the chips were really stale. I got the enchiladas with shredded beef with rice and beans when they brought our food out it was hot but the rice looked and smelled horrible. I haven't been here in years and they are definitely under staffed. We will NOT be coming back....very disappointed. This place has gone downhill so much!!
Took my daughters there and I am a Mexican woman I cook. The food was horrible rice was thick and had a smell the chips were stale. I didn't mind the wait but the food was just bad cant get the smell out of my nose. Rice isn't hard to make fresh. Been there before and it wasn't bad but now I would not go back. The waitress kept saying take your time but would not let up on bugging ok ok here im leaving jeez!

Given the condition of the building and the sad atmosphere, the food was surprisingly delicious. The container did not do justice to what was within. All this place needs to go from good to great is a little imagination and an investor to spruce the place up and bring some magic to the atmosphere. The food is great now, but it'll be amazing when the customers are excited to see their food, rather than wondering if the sadness of the space will inhabit the food on their plate.
In my opinion this is one of the best sit down Mexican restaurants in Pocatello. The salsa and chips are always a treat. I also enjoy the chimichanga burrito dinner. The staff are top notched friendly and help make the evening enjoyable. ?
I have ordered food from here for years, but the last two times our enchilada dinners were not good. The enchiladas had a horrible flavor tonight, couldn't finish them.
