We called with a reservation for a party of 40. They told us there would be plenty of food for all. The cost=$600. We showed up with a hungry soccer team. They had 1 bowl of salad and 3 trays of pizza. The cost per tray on their menu is $32. They are giving us $140 worth of food for $600!!!!!!!!! Every single person is hungry. We don't have drinks, oh, those are not included. Our parents are having to argue with the management to get more food for our girls. They are only bringing out one more tray! Do NOT come here. It is a rip off. We are all headed to eat at a different pizza place!
After a disappointing experience at another food establishment earlier today, we were THRILLED to find Portneuf Valley Brewing and our server, Adriana. From the moment we walked in, the team greeted us warmly and Adriana could not have been more accommodating. The live music was awesome and it was the perfect end to our family celebration in honor of our ISU grad. Thank you Portneuf and Adriana!!
Arrived late Saturday, tired hungry thirsty. There was a band, but we were enjoying a quiet dinner on a different floor. This place had great beer and awesome food. The weekend was very busy for them so some things were out and the staff was super busy! But they were so friendly to us. I definitely would go back.
Nice play to enjoy some good beer, food, and music. I enjoyed the Scout Mountain Stout. The pretzel was good, but we thought beer cheese would really complement it.
We love this place. On a long family trip to Yellowstone, we stopped and stayed in Pocatello for a night. We researched a place to eat that was close and had all the options that the entire family would enjoy. And Portneuf brewing was perfect.We had a chance to sit out back amongst the train cars, but it was massively hot that night so we came back inside. We ordered a burger, quesadilla, pasta and more. The service was great, super friendly and always asking if we needed more. The entire menu was amazing. Plus pizzas!!After a long drive, nothing hits the spot better then a ice cold beer. And they offer a bunch of options. The Twisted Stick Amber was my favorite.We will be back, next time we cross Idaho, Pocatello and Portneuf Valley will be our stop!
JVC is the best, attention to detail and customer service is a breathe of fresh air. The food sets this place apart from most micro brew establishments.
Loved the place. Great food and atmosphere. The beers are tasty and great to try. I ordered the macho nacho with the jalapeño. Watch out because it is very spicy! Very good.Recommend trying the flight of beers for $10. They were labeled and gave you a good idea of what they offer. Service was outstanding.
The staff here has always been excellent and last night was no exception. We started with the antipasto tray which was our go-to. I had the bleu bacon burger and it was the best one I've had anywhere. My wife had the smoked turkey sandwich on the beer ciabatta bread, which I tried, and enjoyed it as well. She had a sparkling raspberry lemonade, which she was not expecting the sparkling part, but really enjoyed it. I also had the Portneuf Porter with my meal and had to take a growler home with me. Definitely a 5-star experience for us.
Wonderful place, we are motoring through and staying at an RV park, we have our dog and always look for dog friendly restaurants. We had the artichoke dip and supremo pizza and our dog Bella had the PVB burger plain. Everything was great. Our server was Carey and she was awesome, only her 4th day working. They were celebrating October Fest and she was dressed so cute. So much fun…. Great place, will definitely come back if we come back this way again. Thank you Penny for creating such a great brewery and restaurant and unique experience ?
I wish I had had more time to experience some of the food here, but the house-brewed sarsaparilla (root beer) was fantastic. I was just passing through the area, so I got a growler full and shared it with the family, they were equally impressed.Maybe even more impressive was the hospitality demonstrated in my very brief visit. The host/owner? went out of his way to make sure I had cups and ice to enjoy my small purchase as part of a picnic at a local park. I can't remember a time I've been treated with that much care and attention by a host - thank you!
