I love this place!
It truly just isn’t a well run place. There’s one person running two stores. When we tried to get ice cream we waited for him for a while, then while he was making the shakes, he was running back and forth from the record store. He wasn’t very polite either. We were rushed. As we were picking flavors he said “are you getting ice cream or what?” Probably won’t be going back
My family and I went in to get some ice cream and treats because my husband came here as a kid and it was a special memory for him. When we got there there was no one up front but a sign says to check the music store next door which I did. A man rudely said YES? I said are you working next door and he again rudely said and? I said (confused as to why he was being rude to me and why he was giving me daggers.....if looks could kill) we will be next door. I left my husband and kids to buy a few things after I told him what happened and I left as I wasn't going to give him any of my money. Not sure if it was because I was black, wearing a mask or both but he was RUDE. We are visiting from out of town and I will never come here again.
Great spot downtown to cool off.
