Finally a place that makes Mexican food like California! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the food was great and very!

I am so glad my husband and I found Las Peñitas! I asked them what was most popular and so I got the three sope combo which was so delicious! The flavor is so good, just like my mom's homemade cooking! I also tried the adobada taco and it is making my mouth water just thinking about it! The tortillas taste handmade, and the green salsa is delicious! We tried the horchata which is yum, and I cant wait to taste the other agua frescas because they're made with fresh fruit! This place is phenomenal and ran by a family that makes delicious food!
They've got the best steak Tortas in town! If you haven't had one I highly recommend you get one.To the owners if you read your own reviews, your customers would appreciate it if you would fix your drive through order display.
Recently moved to Pocatello and looked online for good Mexican food. Saw Las Penitas had great reviews so we decided to stop in. Excellent customer service!! Everyone was so nice and everyone was smiling. The guy that waited on us was a favorite! I wish I had gotten his name to give him a shout out! The food is so so good! We got veggie burritos. Portions are large! Good value!
Food is always fresh. Portions are on point. Salsas are always fresh as well. There is alot of stuff out there but if you want authentic Mexican flavors this is your go to spot!
