Went to dinner here with my best friend for my birthday?? little did I know that they go all out all employees stop what they're doing sing Happy Birthday to you and make you feel special and spend time with you? they also have a saddle horse that you can sit on and get a picture taken? good food good atmosphere busy but not too crowded??
I was pretty disappointed in our visit earlier this week. We love Texas Roadhouse and come for date night and birthdays. We were a party of 13 and our newer server handled it decently. Our order was served with the wrong chicken entree. Then our ribs arrived cold. We informed the server and she said she would be back with a new plate of ribs. She came back with the same ribs "warmed up" who knows how on a new plate. They weren't any warmer. Keep in mind those ribs had a couple spots taken out from our fork samplings. Then our son got sung happy birthday and the waitress grabbed a used napkin off our table and handed it to our son to whip around his head.I asked to talk to a manager and was dumbfounded. I mentioned calmly and politely how I was concerned about food safety in the restaurant. I mentioned how the used napkin went from customer to server to customer. (I hope that server washed their hands.) I mentioned how we were served cold ribs that had been sitting out and then "warmed up" but we're still cold. My guess is they sat under a hot lamp for a minute? The manager sat and listened to me and said the following words. "I am sorry your ribs were cold. Thanks for letting me know." The end. I was dumbfounded. Unprofessional. I think the staff needs a review on food safety and customer service.
Have been coming here occasionally since the location opened, but last night was the most exceptional service with how incredibly busy it was for a Sunday night. The steaks and loaded baked potatoes hit the spot. And even though our other sides came later than expected, our server made sure that they were fresh. I never mind longer wait times when a place is busy, since I've been in the food service industry myself, but I appreciated how attentive our server was everytime she came to our table. (Plus she was funny!). I'm sorry that I can't recall your name but thank you for your service and also for wishing me a safe drive home after having a drink before dinner!
I ordered an 8 oz new york strip Medium-Well Done. The steak was so tender and juicy it pretty much just melted in your mouth and it was just extraordinary! I also enjoyed how friendly the waiters and waitresses were, as well as the wonderful services they provided! Prices were also reasonable, especially with how great everything tasted. I am satisfied with the experience I endured this evening!

Well it's been years since I walked out of a restaurant but that is how it ended up here on a Tuesday night. After being promptly seated and ordering drinks and our entrees the server ignored us. Upon reflection we can't figure out what we might have done or said to be treated that way. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know but she made some sarcastic comments so I'm pretty sure it was something internal. After 45 minutes there was no food and no communication. We decided to leave when our server's table behind us, who arrived after us, received their bill. During our wait a manager walked by and she also didn't stop at our table to check on our experience. It makes me wonder how we looked to others. But we were trying to be patient.We had not visited this restaurant in over a year but the last time we did it was still a great experience and it is still seems very popular judging by the parking lot. I'm suspicious that there has been a management change, but whatever the reason it is unfortunate that a formerly great restaurant is sliding into mediocrity.I have read other recent reviews with a manager response saying, "if you are ever unsatisfied again, please let us know before you leave the restaurant and we'll fix any issue brought to our attention". That was the problem tonight, no one wanted to pay attention.
We went for my wife's birthday. Our service was not the best. Our meal wasn't hot and to much seasoning. The Manager was very good and understanding. I think things would've been different for my feelings if it wasn't for it being my wife's birthday. We had her sister and brother-in-law and our daughter with us. Management helped smooth things over for us which was appreciated. I think next time we will go to the Meridian location.
I went with a couple of good friends and everything was excellent from the time we walked in to leaving. The staff interacted with us as we celebrated a long overdue birthday.We had more than enough appetizers, good and our birthday boy got dessert with entertainment, of which he was a part.I would give this location more stars, if possible!
