The food is really amazing, I got their goat soup and tacos (lengua, cabeza, barbacoa) both of them are amazing. I didn't know what to expect with the goat soup, but it actually tastes good if you are into sour. It tastes like pinapaitan in Philippines. The goat meat is super tender and not chewy at all so it's great! Their salsa for tacos are superb ? I love the guacamole sauce. There are so many things I wanna try so I'm definitely coming back!
The service was not good. There were 5 employees up front and maybe 4 customers. We were never offered a refill on drinks. When we finally got our orders, we kinda laughed. I have NEVER been to a restaurant with such tiny tacos..tiny corn tortillas, no cheese, lettuce..more like street tacos ( not advertised as street) just a little meat with a touch of sauce. The burrito was wrapped up like it was meant for a to go order. We unwrapped it to find TONS of grease dripping. Needless to say 80 % of it was rice..seriously. The seasonings was very good. The plate looked close to a child's meal with sides of rice and beans.
Good serviceand friendly employees. Authentic Mexican food and not Americanized like most Mexican restaurants. The prices are very reasonable. I take people there often and tell everyone about it. It's just a small, friendly family owned restaurant.
Tacos El Rey is wonderful!! We've never had a bad experience. Food is outstanding and staff is always kind. Highly recommend for a authentic Mexican experience.
The wait times were long it wasn’t even busy when we walked in. The food was terribly salty. I just wanted a burrito man. The server rarely checked on us. And over all it was just a bad experience the only reason I gave two stars is because my mom said her food was good my was garbage.
Always a great place to eat awesome service to match the good food ..if there were more table space I’d give another star so although it’s small in there it’s not too bad seating
Great food have been coming here for years but it so hard to get a refill finally had to say something I leave thirsty every time
Small cozy restaurant with a pleasant colorful atmosphere. We were seated promptly and got our drinks quickly. Chips were served with salsa AND beans which I appreciated. We cleared out our chips and beans which were warm and yummy. The main entrees took a little longer than expected to come out so we were sitting there for quite some time with empty plates and drinks (only negative). Once the food finally arrived, it was delicious.
Great fish tacos. I'm not normally a fish taco person, but these are the best I've had in the area.
Always good food. Upset they didnt take orders as we walked in. Workers were first. Bt oh well.
