So dirty!! What a let down. Mancino’s was alway a local favorite. The floor along the booths was crusty. The salad bar was a disaster!! You have all of the amazing ingredients to make a salad bar absolutely delicious. Nope. Just dirty old half filled containers. More salad dressing options than toppings. I started my 30 year food service career here. Breaks my heart to see what it’s like now. If you allow the front of the house to be that nasty, I can’t IMAGINE what it’s like where guests can’t see. It’s really not that hard. Do better.
I gave them a 2 star rating based on the fact they are very nice people. As to the food, I ordered a cup of their broccoli cheddar soup, I believe it was canned cheese sauce thinned down with cooked broccoli tossed in, very little broccoli flavor mainly canned cheese sauce flavor, at $4 a cup not good.I ordered a med pepperoni pizza w extra sauce, there was 1 or 2 thin slices of low cost pepperoni on each slice, as to the crust, it was cooked, soft and reminded me of a higher quality out of a box of Krustize pizza dough instant mix.I have not tried the 8 or 16 inch sandwiches they have on the menu, but my friend says they are very good. I might consider trying there sands but i am sceptical to try any other items from the menu.I am a former Chef di cuisine society trained chef with 20 years experience and 10 more years in the food industry.Sir you are friendly kind and I would rather support an independent business owner. I recomend you do some research and recipe training, upgrade quality then you would knock it out of the park.
Nice little place on Robinson & Midland in Nampa. 5 booths and 7 tables. The menu is on the wall. Real friendly atmosphere. You order at the counter and they call your name and bring it to you.I ordered the Philly steak samminch. It was baked well, was nice and hot and had just the right amount of steak, peppers an onions. It was fantastico. It came with a small bag of chips for $7.99. I will definitely be back with the squeeze to see how she likes it.
Hot subs for lunch are great, i had the pastrami and can't recommend it enough. Co-workers had the Italian and keep trying to get me to change.
Ordered a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and it had no chicken. They remded it and it had super small pieces of chicken that looked like mushrooms. The only thing in the sandwich was cheese and ham. The worker argued with me saying that is what they have always had chicken like that but it isn't how I have had it before. Definitely buyer beware.
Fabulous subs and great service! We decided to eat in after ordering takeout and the manager/owner got up from his break to get us plates and some drinks! Thanks!
Absolutely lovely baked sub shop! Everything on the sandwich menu is a winner. They also have great personal-size pizzas which are killer for lunch, but bigger sizes too, which I featured. The soda fountain also has Diet Mountain Dew which is absolutely a rarity. Thank you guys!!!
My dad recommended this place to us. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is delicious, and was very quick to be served. Everything is very well priced also. We will definitely come back.
This place is low on frills but great on taste. Highly recommend the reuben sandwich, one of the most popular items. So popular in fact if they run out of marble rye during the week they have to wait for their next shipment from a special bakery in Boise.
The sandwiches are made to order and perfectly cooked. Excellent flavor and lots of ingredients. Our go to for a hot sandwich.
