Can’t give you more than this. I am not sure about some of the other reviews but they are way too nice. This is the worst Chinese food in the Treasure Valley and the worst Chinese buffet I have ever been to in my 50 years. Food was bland and just barely warm. Sushi was old and tasted terrible if you could even call it that as there wasn’t a piece of fish in sight. The selection was poor at best and the atmosphere was depressing. I put food on three plates in an effort to find something before I said enough of this place. There is a place right down the road in both directions that have much better food or should say food worth 2 people with a drink was $38 on a Sunday. I threw away my money here and I would never go back for free or if I was starving. A place like this need to be reviewed to save people from going to it.
I came in here to have dinner with my mother and when we went to sit and eat our food my mom was halfway into her food and was feeling hot (hotflash) so she was as using the menu to kind of fan herself and the waiter was very rude about it. She approached my mom asking her if she wanted to order off the menu and my mom said no thanks I’m just using it to cool myself down a bit and the lady took it from my moms hands and said “no you can’t use this as a fan for yourself” it made me very mad because my mom is elderly. Also they came to our table every 2 minutes asking if we needed something. And we didn’t get to enjoy our food or time here. We got up and left. I’m Upset we even paid for our food because I didn’t feel like we ate anything because my mom was so upset and feeling uncomfortable. I’m sorry but if it was your mom how would you feel. It was very unprofessional and rude. I willNot be coming back here and I think you need to train your employees better for customer service.
The bar was really good. I liked most of the on the bar. The severe was wonderful.Everyone was Polite and willing to help if we needed it. The restaurant was nice and clean.Thank you for the wonderful time.
The worst Chinese food I've ever tried in all of Canyon County!!! Greasy, salty egg rolls, fried rice is just flavored rice very little meat or vegetables. I'm not going to go into my husbands meal with the rubbery chicken.
Very difficult people.My wife wanted cashue chicken no vegetables, they didn't want to make it and argued with us until agreeing to make it at an extra cost. Asked for wantan skins, they did not have. We have ordered this at many chinese restaurants before and this was the first time this has happened. Mostly it was the attitude I had issue with.Left to go to different restaurant.
What I liked:--The staff were friendly.--The ordering experience online is easy.--Packaging was decent for the food.What I disliked:--The food I ordered had a small notation on the homepage that they didn't deliver, but nowhere else, even after I was done with the order. The only reason I knew they didn't deliver was no delivery charge. I suppose I could have missed the small notation, but it also would be nice on their order system to have instead of "Carry Out" and "Dine In", have "Pickup" and "Dine In". This would alleviate confusion.--After 20 minutes I had not received a call when it was estimated to be done in 15 minutes. I went in and sure enough, the lady at the counter said she had seen my order back there ready. No notification through their system, yet they want your information.--The food I ordered was supposed to be spicy, but instead was sickly, cloyingly sweet. The noodles were half cooked and part of them were bone dry as though they'd been sitting out forever.
This place has the best service, portions, and price. My wife had always ordered online for our dinners, until the fateful night I was responsible for it. I ordered 3 big meals for dinner and the expected leftovers for the next few days. I picked it up and got home, only to realize there was no meat for the chicken dish. When I went back, I was not as polite as I wanted to be. TURNS OUT I had ordered the wrong thing. Not only did they offer to cook me what my wife wanted to eat, in addition to what I had ordered, they sent me home with extras. Trust me, I was and will continue to be grateful and generous to Jade Garden. The food is also delicious and authentic. I am writing this while my food gets cold because I felt they deserved this review.
Their Buffet has one of the best selections that I've seen. They also have senior (age based) discounts at checkout. Don't forget to mention if you are eligible for senior rates. I would/will go back again.
We have been going here for 15 years. Mostly take out. Great food. I love their shrimp. Only place to go for real Chinese food.
First of all, I find the food to be delicious. I used to go twice weekly. Unfortunately, I must give two stars because of the attitude of a new employee. I haven’t been back recently, because the young hostess is rude to me every time I call in and pick up my order. If things change, I’ll be back. In the meantime, I won’t be. Shame.
