We had not been there for years, always over ate because I felt I had to get my monies worth. I did get really full and the food was so good.Super hot and everything looked fresh. Our waitress was awesome and because our daughter use to work there we left her a $20 tip!All I can say is if I had a food addiction this would be where I relapse.
Same Golden Coral as others we've been too. But they seem to have more floor service (table bus) staff than some others we've been too. Restaurant seems a little cleaner and tables cleared more often than other Golden Corals we've been too. Same offerings as at others we've been too. Actually got a pretty good steak considering how many they have on the grill (a dozen or so at once) with options from Rare to Well Done. I don't know the kids working the grill keep track of each steak, but they do an excellent job. The steaks I got were tender, juicy and nicely seasoned.It was on a Saturday evening, so the restaurant was crowded, but we did not to wait for a table. The food service lines were always stocked with fresh, hot entrees, veggies etc. The salad bar was always stocked with fresh veggies, extras (bacon bits, cheese, carrots, sunflower seeds, etc) and a large variety of freshly made dressings.I always seem to forget to take pix, but I'll try to remember next time..
Food was great. Tea stayed full. And for a buffet the steak was better then most places I have ordered from on the road. The cook should be the trainer for the whole company. You asked for a steak a certain way you get it. which was a fantastic feet on a busy Easter afternoon
If you've never been to Golden coral I recommend the experience, especially if you have to feed 5+ family members with good appetites. It's an all you can eat buffet, and while every dish is not fot me, all of them are surprisingly high quality with great taste as well as a HUGE variety of foods to chose from for any picky eaters. The staff are friendly and willing to help with food selection, assist with near anything you'd need. Also, they have a to die for desert bar, with everything from a tasty cobbler to ice cream or rice crispy treats. Overall a great experience I've had here over the many trips I've made with my family.
This is an incredible place to eat!! For the price of less than $15 each, there is an enormous amount and variety of very good food. The table staff was very friendly and accommodating, checking on us and cleaning the used dishes often. Nice salad bar, a taco bar, meat stations with beef, chicken, seafood, and pork dishes topped off with a vast dessert station loaded with lots of goodies! And, an ice cream machine to top it off! Not a place I could eat often because I can't stop eating but a great place to visit occasionally for great food and a great price.
We eat here about once a month, it's always clean. For the most part the staff is great. I think last night we had the best server we have ever had, thank you Cesar. As for buffet this is five star never been disappointed at this location, and with kids this is easy. Definitely the best buffet style restaurant I've been to.
I love the all you can eat steaks here!!! Really they are tasty. The variety is spectacular. I always eat the pot roast with carrots and gravy soon good.One of the Boise areas best buffets. Awesome salad bar, awesome dessert station and so much more.WARNING You will over eat if you come here lol
I came here on a Sunday. The food is so delicious. There is so much to pick from. I have my favorites of course. The fish that's not breaded, breaded shrimp, sweet potato, green beans, they have all kinds of chicken, bacon, ham, and pull pork. I always try to save room for dessert. Their bread pudding is so delicious I keep thinking I gotta make this at home. I also ate cheesecake, coconut cream pie, and the soft ice cream that comes out of the machine. My wife said the their mashed potatoes are very delicious. She had the carrot cake and said it was very delicious.
I went in this time for a quick dinner about 4 pm, so not too busy. I got in and seated fast. Food was good, and they had some new items, so that was great. My "server" brought my drink when I went to the bathroom, never once came to the table while I was there. This upset me because I wanted a straw to drink my diet coke. I finished the second plate and left without tipping, which I never do.
The hostess put her hand on the top plate that she gave us and she didn't have gloves on... Other than that the waiter we had was awesome and very attentive. The food was delicious. We rarely come with our whole family because it's pricy.
