I first want to say I only gave this one star becauseI had to. This was my first and last experience at this establishment!!! When we first got there the server was friendly but there was no silverware - I of course thought nothing of it, we had just got there- Well as it turns out after waiting 20 -30 mins I had to beg someone for a spoon for my father in laws coffe - first picture shown is the rude worker who than Slaped down 3 spoons and ran off- it took 10 mins to get someone to get me a spoon! Well about 5 - 10 mins later our food comes out!! Guess what STILL NO SILVERWEAR!! had to beg someone yet again to get a fork to eat my meal "food was cold and definitely not good" biscuits were hard and nasty!! They claim to be under staffed but staff were on their phones and sitting in the kitchen for a good min!!! IT gets so much better!! When we were about to leave and the same server sat a man down with 5 mins he got his food and silverware and a drink!!! "She most definitely profiled us" NOT ONE PERSON WOULD GET ME SILVERWARE I HAD TO GET UP AND BEG FOR IT!!! I Would recommend not coming here unless you want to go to the gift shop because the gift shop is super cool!! -Pictures listed below are of the man who got served with 5 mins - the lady who slapped the spoons down - the staff of thire phone- and the biscuits being not enabled and so hard- ? NEVER AGAIN -P.S the prices are high for the amount of food you get and the quality- The name on the receipt was our "forgetful server"
Dang it I hate doing this to Cracker Barrel, one of my all time fav places to go when on the road. But today was just awful. Dining room was half full, not busy. But I waited almost an hour to get my food. When it finally came half was wrong and the other half was missing. Once I finally had my order my eggs were ice cold and way over cooked. My sons chicken fried steak tasted like old oil.
Rv overnight parkingGreat location but a little busy in parking area. Grass for dogs.Dinner was good they were short staffed but still good place to eat.Ordered desert to go later in eveningYummy
The food was pretty bland. The ham was dry but tasted alright, and the biscuits were alright. Otherwise I was pretty disappointed. Probably won't be back.
The store was the best part of the experience. The service was such a strange experience and very delayed considering the amount of people were in there. The food was less than average. The place was clean though. The store in the front was great to look around in. We were asked multiple times if we needed help in the store but yet when we got in the restaurant the service was not good. My suggestion would be take a couple people out of the store area and move them into into hostess/waiter position so that when you're eating you get a better experience. I felt the store had home depot type awesome customer service and the restaurant was a complete opposite experience. We went in there ultimately for the restaurant not the store.
We will never go back to this location. Sassy lady taking names at the door. They would not seat our party of seven until all were present. My husband is disabled and they wanted to bring him a chair to sit on in the store, he said no thank you as he didn't want to feel like he was on display. It took over an hour to get our breakfast, and our one year old was not amused. None of the staff smiled, the wait staff looked like they had just got a stern talking to from management. This was not a pleasant experience. The name taking lady told us that they were really busy, but at least half of the tables were sitting empty. This is the first google review I have ever written that is not favorable. I prefer to leave positive reviews but this one had to be written. Sad day.
We have often eaten here in Nampa and always enjoyed it. Today, we waited about the average of 20 or so minutes for a table, understandable as it was mid breakfast on a Saturday. Got seated and ordered beverages. Wife got probably the saddest excuse for a mimosa offered in the Treasure Valley. I stuck with just OJ. We waited about another 15 or 20 minutes, no sweat it was busy. Waitress came back and asked how we were doing, reminded her we hadn’t even ordered yet. Now, the people behind me had just complained to a manager that they had been there for over an hour and had not gotten their food. I asked our waitress before ordering if we were looking at an hr to an hr and half for food? She said ya unfortunately. There is in no way any excuse for 90 minutes to get breakfast, and had they been honest with people when seating them, they probably would have been able to catch up a little bit. Sadly, will think twice before returning.
Just had THE worst Cracker Barrel experience. I’ve ate here several times but not again. The “Friday Special fish fry” was like eating a boot. The roast beef meal was freezing cold nothing like trying to eat cold mashed potatoes. My fiancé felt ill after eating the rubber fish. We also had to wait 35 mins just for drinks. After a hard week of work I feel like I just wasted 50 bucks I wish that I would’ve just went to the grocery store and cooked at home. It was just awful ?.
Cracker Barrel used to be one of those must go to places.Today, not so much. We went here a couple of weeks ago and due to staffing there was a really long wait. So, today we tried again. They weren't very busy. Yay. We got seated. Our waitress, Maddie, came over. She was not friendly and seemed irritated to help.Alright, maybe she's stressed or having a rough morning. Who knows..I tried to ask a question you would have thought I pulled some teeth. Yikes. The food arrived. Presentation was nice. The taste. Horrid. The hash brown casserole tasted like the day before's heat up in the microwave. Once you got through the hard layer it was so salty you couldn't eat it.I asked for toasted bread and got toasted soggy bread. Not sure how that happened. The blueberry pancakes looked amazing until we pulled a piece of something red out. It looked like plastic or a red fruity pebble.I guess I just expect more from a Cracker Barrel.
Holy cow. The Ham Steak was beautiful. Loved the entire dinner. Good pricing. We went in and the had a buss load of kids drop in on them right before us. They Still was able to get us a table in less then the 30 minutes they thought and gave us great service. Thanks guys.
