My husband and I have driven by this cafe several times and today we opted to walk in for breakfast.What a cute place .. staff was SO friendly and our server, Alexis couldn’t have nicer and was so efficient and helpful. We have eaten breakfasts at several of the local restaurants and this is now our favorite .. our breakfast was so yummy and plentiful. We will most definitely eat there again ?.
Basic breakfasts. Located in downtown meridian. Wait times can be hours on weekends so I recommend weekdays only. Counter top and table seating. Old timey decor.
We arrived at 10:15 A.M. for our breakfast not knowing what we are going to get because you never know. What a pleasant surprise. The waitress, Alexis, was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about what could be ordered and what could be substituted or added to our meals. The coffee was fresh and hot and refilled promptly. Our three meals were cooked not only according to out liking, but just the way we ordered. The cinnamon rolls were OUTSTANDING. Our whole experience was first class. Thank you very much. Highly recommend.
There was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. Our server (Manny I believe) was very attentive despite being super busy. He was very friendly, prompt, and made sure to accommodate my dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. The vegan dish I had was amazing, and my boyfriend really enjoyed his dish as well. You also get a lot of food for the price. Definitely recommend this place, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
Fantastic breakfast dinner in meridian! The food is always more than enough for one person so I usually split it with my friend Terri. Also a good left over option. Great service , and you can tell the regulars who come in by the way they are greeted at the door ?
I like Sunrise Cafe and go to several of them in the Treasure Valley, but the Meridian one has lost any opportunity of business from me due to their shortage or lack of parking. I do not walk distances well and circled the block three times and there was no available on street parking and I never did see a way to get into the alley or off street access to any parking behind building
My hubby and I went to Sunrise Cafe today. What a cute place. It's like stepping back in history. The food was fantastic and our waiter Manny was so helpful and kind. We will absolutely come back again. They offer a good meal with lots of selections and prices are good. Our breakfast for two was $30.00. The helping are huge so you get what you pay for and the food is delicious.
Great staff & delicious food. The menu options alone will blow your mind. Most breakfast plates come with 7 choices to pick from. The bacon & Idaho potatoes are fantastic. 2nd time in 5 days I've been here, & I'll be back. Our server Emily was sweet & attentive. We never ran out of coffee.
This place is amazing! The waitresses are always there to cheer you up and start your day out right! My family and I are regulars here and we have never been disappointed with the food, the staff, or the restaurant’s environment. We really can’t tell this staff how much we appreciate them and their hard work to get our delicious food out in a timely manner with great conversation in between.
Every Saturday, our company buys the office lunch. Today, we ordered 13 to-go orders for the office, and they forgot 3 of our orders. When we noticed and contacted them, they argued with us about the missing orders. We then had to ask them to remake them, and drive all the way back to Meridian from Garden City to pick them up. Meanwhile, the quality of the food is awful. We spent over $170 today, and sadly, had to throw most of it away. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and we will not go back. I'm including pictures of the hard and old cheese, the burnt French toast, and the steak that smelled rotten. Sad.
