Very unprofessional business allowing the cook to sweat all over the food that’s being prepared for customers I would not recommend.
I had the worst experience. I found cigarette ashes in my undercooked food. It was weird..my food smelled like cigarette butts. Undercooked and topped off with ashes. Now I’m wondering if there was sweat in there too. I will never go back. They used my food as an ashtray.
This place is a horrible place to eat and work at. The owners are arrogant and deceitful. The cooks are too busy smoking all the time and the food is poorly cooked. I’ve seen somewhere online that the guy owner cooks and sweats all over the food and serves it the customers.
We stopped by for a late breakfast mid week. Our server was delightful! I couldn’t decide between two options, and I’m so happy she suggested the quiche. It was wonderful! The restaurant is bright and clean too. We will be back!
This is the best place for the best of everything ❤️ Fabulous variety to choose from. I had the daily special, blueberry- lemon cream cheese filled crepes, with eggs & bacon all cooked to perfection. This restaurant goes above & beyond with their quality of ingredients & personable service. As well as reasonably priced. I only wish I lived closer to eat here every day????
I visit Boise frequently as I grew up here, but live on the east coast currently. Every time I have been into this location, Jeffrey (I believe is his name, I will pay attention next time) is our server and he is just wonderful. Funny, high spirited, and great energy. The Griddle’s food is wonderful on its own, but his service makes this place memorable. What a great person to have on your team of servers!
I actually ate there twice in one day. My husband had surgery so while he was in I ate a light breakfast. Once he got out a while later he was hungry so we went together... I just got a drink and a single slice of french toast and my husband had a full breakfast. The bill came, $5 for a SINGLE slice of french toast. ONE, UNO! Ridiculous. The first visit was great, my waitress was WONDERFUL! She was sweet and very accommodating. I wish that I could leave two reviews because she was so great!
Their French Toast is literally the best that I've ever had anywhere in my life, but the Rosie's French toast is on another level of deliciousness! It's so good that it's nearly sinful. We've eaten at the Griddle for the last 5 weekends in a row because all week long all I can think about is the Rosie's French Toast!
It was a cold day and I had been working outside all morning so I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and a hot coffee. If you’re looking for friendly service and a breakfast to turn your day around, I would definitely stop in!
Not your standard bacon and eggs, but much better. This location has retained many of the same staff members for years and their food is a comfortable mix of elevated and homemade. They just opened up a second wing (complete with bar stools) to accommodate the crowd that starts to gather around 9a on the weekend. I recommend the Red Flannel Hash and Eggs, or any of the Specials that are served on Saturdays.
