Vanessa and the staff are super friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed before we even asked. So apparently this place is haunted by a friendly ghost so that's fun and spooky! food was amazing (the impossible patty in the hangover burger especially) and love the fresh coffee here. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the food and service we received here. It's our first date night in idaho :)
The restaurant is great but I ordered curb side and when I called they said they can't do that because it's lunch time. What's the point of curb side then? I had alrdy ordered and paid for it. Anyhow Natalie said I would have to come inside and hung up on me. RUDE first off and then her attitude like I hadn't paid yet. Shari's is great Natalie is not so great.
I've been to many locations. This particular location in Meridian,ID is the best I've been to. The staff is great and friendly. The prices are at the top of what I can afford, which is why we treat Shari's like a treat! The food is always great!! Their food never fails.
Got a simple order of biscuits and gravy with bacon. Bacon was fine. The biscuits were overworked dinner rolls full of cheese rather than a flaky breakfast biscuit. The gravy was the most disappointing part. A completely flat flavor other than the overwhelming amount of rosemary. No sausage or 'meaty' flavor normally found in a country gravy. To simulate sausage flavor sage would be far more appropriate.
Very good food, fast service. Loved the crispy hash browns and fluffy pancakes. Awesome rack of Tobasco sauces!! Good stop in the road trip.
To the nasty “waitress” with no manners you just made this restaurant loose mine and my members business - only thing I regret is not catching your name I have always said good morning, and have have a good day since I’ve came in and for some reason you always ignore it or just don’t want to acknowledge it. Just FYI I was a waitress for 18 yrs - I KNOW WHAT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. The only reason you’re still there is because the restaurant can’t find a replacement . Evening crew you are amazing !! For that one stinky morning waitress I feel for the crew.
I have always enjoyed Shari’s. I went to lunch at this Meridian location, it was great as usual. We had wonderfully prepared food, everything was up to standards for Shari’s. We also had a nice chat while we were there, the booths are deep and have high backs which make it easy to sink into. It is a smidgen loud in there during lunch hour, but still fairly easy to have a conversation. Their pies are always amazing as well!
I did takeout. Northwest salad in the picture has meat but that’s fine. It did not taste good, I would not recommend, the bread was very soft and gross. I also ordered tomato soup, tasted like it came out of a can. Payed $15 for a not so good meal
We had the prime rib and it was delicious! Definitely recommend. Our waitress was great tonight and recommended the best pie to us! Idk what it was called, but it was their most popular.
Love the food, the free pie Wednesday and the service! Thank u Shari's and MERRRY CHRISTMAS ?!PS ... FRANKIE, AMANDA and Sherry are WONDERFUL, kind, patient and a total asset to Shari's! I hope u treat them really well and pay them what they deserve!!! ?
