This is the best Chinese food I've had in the valley. Much higher quality dishes then most other Chinese restaurants. Portions are great and prices are good. Highly recommend.
Best sea bass in black bean sauce. The owner was very knowledgeable of here culture and cuisine in Chinese food. Awesome place and I suggest to call and make reservations. Thank goodness I had call her. Great atmosphere also.
Delicious and lite. Not heavy and greasy like so many other Chinese restaurants. Take out order was accurate and on time. Front service staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
What an awful experience at Red Pavillion ( our first and last). Ordered the Lettuce Wraps which took 40 minutes to arrive. The lettuce was wilted and brown. Next up was our Mandarin Chicken and Wor Won Ton soup which we waited an additional 40 minutes to get. It arrived cold and bland. The soup had 2 tiny shrimp and the chicken was rubbery. Everything was absolutely cold and disgusting in general. When we complained to the " manager " who couldn't have been more that 17 years old her exact words were " what do you want me to do about it". If that's not bad enough they gave us 2 crushed fortune cookies . 54 dollars later we felt robbed and traumatized. Please don't go to this Meridian rip off joint. There are much better options out there like Banguet TV dinners for a faster , hotter, tastier meal!
The food is wonderful. But they really need to prioritize their dine in customers first before filling walk in orders or taking additional curbside pick up orders. It took 45 minutes to get 2 of our 3 appetizers. .. the 3rd was given to the table behind us. They ran out so we never got it... then my dad got food at the 1hr+ mark... then my husband at the 1hr 30 mark. We finally complained and we started getting fried rice my mom's food then continued to wait on my 2 children's plates as well as my own. It took over 2 hrs to get all the food. My 4 year old got his food last. Whenever I got my food I feed it to my baby and gave my older son my rice because they were so hungry. I didn't even eat but a couple of bites just to show my mom that I was eating too but my son was very hungry and not wanting to give me more than just 2 bites of my plate. Unfortunately it ruined the experience. My parents go out to a dine in restaurant once a year because it's hard for my mom to walk due to her heart condition. Maybe they just need a better system and a bigger place. The food is great the abundance of customers is a testimony to that.
We had the combo dinner which included 1 entree per person plus soup and rice. Our entrees were Mongolian beef and almond honey shrimp. The flavors were consistent with our experience elsewhere but lacking in elegance. Moreover, the food and tea weren't hot enough. The restaurant also has a lively take out business.
Would highly recommend this Mandarin restaurant, the food is fresh and flavorful, always good and you get plenty for a single person or enough to take a bit home for later! I've visited 3 times over the past couple years and it has gotten better each time. They are definitely worth the try.
Awful, the food taste like canned chow main you buy at Walmart. Egg rolls taste like frozen filo with canned chow main. Sweet and sour just terrible. Will never eat there again and would not recommend.
I had the Shrimp Sticks and Spring Roll appetizers and they were okay, nothing special. Also, I had the General Sou Chicken and Honey Almond Chicken. Although they were both presented very nice, they fell very short on flavor. I didn't feel this meal was worth the money. I might go back and give the restaurant a second chance, but wouldn't order the same items.
I don't like this type of food very often because it's so hit or miss on quality. This place was amazing! The chicken and chow rice was amazing! My boyfriend got the beef with broccoli and that was great too. We are thoroughly impressed with this place. Good quality food, large portions, good service.
