I ordered from here cause I wanted some again food and this was the only place open late. I won't e making that mistake again... The egg rolls were awkwardly fat and they tasted fishy and salty. The crab rangoons were cold and bland. The egg rolls were hot and they were all shoved in the same little bag. I'm pretty sure the the rangoons were just old. The boba was unpleasant. The actual lemonade was good, but the boba in the lemonade had zero flavor, not even sweet. The texture was all over the board. Some had a good texture, while most were either too chewy (like chewing on a stale tasteless gummy bear) or rock hard and had to be spat out.
I notice that many of the recent reviews are 1 star and mine wasn’t that bad. But not as good as it should be.I was feeling like having some Chinese food from a Chinese restaurant. Not that I don’t like Panda Express, but there is something that one gets from a restaurant. So I ordered two dishes from their site, not a third party.I got a spicy chicken and a spicy beef dish. Now the site tells you what is in the two dishes, and they use celery. I personally don’t like celery, but knowing that there was celery meant that I would be picking it out. For each dish I paid an extra $2.00 to get chicken fried rice. Each dish. The site let me know that it would be a 30 minute wait. Keep in mind that my favorite Thai place and another Chinese place (Which was take out only when I last ordered from them) typically take 15 minutes when they are busy.I got there a bit early. There were two other vehicles in the parking lot which were mostly employees. I went in, no one is there. It is a restaurant but are still take out only. I waited a few minutes before a gentleman came out. Chinese, late teens to mid 20’s I think. I give him my name, he goes in back. He took literally took a minute before returning. I paid for my meal, two entrees and the upgrade to two chicken fried rice, which came to just shy of $25 ($24.91 specifically). I waited a bit more, and probably just shy of the 30 minute mark I had my bag with my meal. Mind you, the 10ish minutes that I was there, there were no other customers coming or going, no phone calls to arrange placing an order. I can’t understand a 30 minute wait time when there are no customers. Did they literally cut everything once I ordered, start up the oven/stove?Got home and unpacked and got one small container of fried rice. One, when I paid for the upgrade for two meals, and it was just enough for one of the two meals. So I picked out the celery, which was rather big chunks in each meal. Someone else commented on there being barely any meat, and I would say that there could be more meat, but not really underwhelming amount. But one of the things that I noticed is that to make this meal spicy is to add a spoonful or so of chili paste. There are other ways to spice the food, but they just added the cheater method. I didn’t expect good Szechuan cuisine, and it is okay.I won’t be ordering from this location again. Might have to try the one on Overland. My hunt for a good Szechuan Chinese food continues.
I just verified this over the phone:Make sure that you ask what all the extra charges are because they're going to charge you for every single thing. If you want an extra bit of spiciness in your food you're going to get charged. You want a side of hot sauce or chili sauce or chili paste or chili oil you're going to get charged. Everything is extra now here. They don't have it on the menu and they don't let you know they're going to charge you extra.Nobody else in the valley does this. Their food isn't worth the extra charges here. I'll just go back to Golden Wok or Wok Inn Noodle or Golden Star or any number of better quality restaurants then this greasy spoon.
We've ordered takeout from here multiple times and never been disappointed! So many delicious options and our food is fresh every time.
Jason and staff went above and beyond for us tonight ❤️❤️ We mistakenly thought they were open until 10:30 and showed up 10 minutes before closing. They stayed and made our food anyway and it was AMAZING!! You just made life-long customers out of us ❤️❤️ Thanks so much!!
Worse food ever. We usually drive to the one on Overland but yesterday, I was sick so we wanted it delivered but Overland wouldn't deliver here so we had to go with the Meridian location. She didn't knock or ring the bell, just left the box on our step. If we didn't have the Ring, we would never have known it was sitting out there. We spent a hundred dollars and had to throw it all out. The Won Ton Soup was literally just warm water with a few won tons and a few cabbage leaves, no pork, no shrimp, no peas, no flavor, nothing. The meats including the pork fried rice tasted like really bad burnt oil and the chow mein was incredibly dry. We tossed it all and drove to Burger King, that's how bad it was lol
Shoot. Should have checked out this page before I ordered from Uber Eats. Everything about my order was messed up -- I ordered the sauce on the side of my Lemon Chicken. They drenched the chicken in sauce. The rice was cold and hard as if it were leftovers from the fridge. The dumplings were soggy and not that great. Will not order here again.
They should really just close. This restaurant has just given up. Take out only. For a pick up you will be told 45 minutes til ready, then its not ready for 20 min more. Quality has decreased. 2 of our 4 items seemed as though the were cooked ‘yesterday’. All items cold. Hot and sour soup was like they just threw in bizarre but available ingredients… never seen or tasted anything like it. chow mein noodles from the ‘can’, Walmart style.. There’s more but I am sure you get my point.
I HATE DOING REVIEWS, but in this case I will. My family has been ordering food from here for many many years, but never again, after telling my wife she was lying about her instructions on our to go order, then lying to us on the delivery time, then forgetting our order, I am done with the 2+ hour wait times, the over cooked dried out food just for the slight chance it will be good again like it use to be 4+ years ago. Horrible service and disgusting food do not ever eat food from this establishment.
Do you like vegetables? Our Mongolian beef had less than 1/4 cup of meat (we measured see photo) the snow pea chicken had more meat, but overwhelming vegetables. don't get me wrong, I love vegetables, but if I'm paying $11+ for a dish with meat in the name I expect more. Also when ordering through Uber they force you to pick a side dish and each dish is $2+. one appetizer and 2 entrees delivered was $50. The side of pork fried rice tasted of seafood, was dry, and a very small portion. The seasoning was good, flavors on point (aside from the fried rice), but proportions out of whack.
