Kendrick and Alexis are the best. Everytime I visit Popeyes in meridian Kendrick is always smiling and ready to take care of you as a Customer. It's always clean and the food fresh hot. I would recommend Popeyes on fairview to anyone
Ordered a sandwich combo with fries and then an extra biscuit. Got order, no fries. The girl at window says the combo only comes with one side and biscuit was side. I said no fries were ordered with sandwich combo just wanted one extra biscuit. She kept asking if I wanted to get an order of fries. So they charge me for fries after I’ve already paid -ripping me off as fries cost more than 1 extra biscuit but she was so obtuse and my daughter just wanted to eat I went ahead and paid for the fries and asked for a receipt for both orders. Of course no receipt provided. Sure it’s only about an extra few dollars but nevertheless felt ripped off. On top of that the fries were old and gross my daughter couldn’t even eat them. I wanted to take them back but my daughter knew I was upset at how obtuse the worker was so we just left. I really hate being ripped off.
The chicken sandwich is even better than Chick-fil-A. The spicy is quite spicy so don't get it unless you really like hot things. But it is delicious. I always get the spicy.
After having a terrible experience at the Popeye's on West Fairview a few miles away, we visited this store on April 9th, 2022, and had an absolutely EXCELLENT experience! The staff was friendly, considerate, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and clearly appreciate their job and taking care of their customers. The staff at this specific Popeye's really deserve kudos for an absolutely great customer service experience. The food as amazing, everything was fresh and hot, and even though I ordered food to eat there and to go, they went out of their way to ensure my to go order was hot and prepared after we ate so it was as fresh as could be.I cannot say enough about this location and the staff here, they all deserve a pat on the back and a raise if possible. WAY TO GO!From now on, if we want Popeye's amazing chicken, we will drive the extra 3 miles to this location to get some, as they truly know the meaning of the term "Customer Service".
Food was so dry and overcooked I was so disappointed. Couldn't even bite into chicken it was so overcooked and dried out.
Sat in line well before closing time. A customer in front of us had a very long, large order. When we got to the drive-thru, the drive-thru lady decided very rudely to refuse service to us because it was ONE MINUTE after close. Even though we waited the whole time. The intercom lady very rudely told us she is going to refuse service because she "wanted to go home." Unprofessional, rude we won't be supporting this business anymore after this unless it's made right. What kind of service is that??
What an impressive crew. From the order to the serving of our meal this team had it all together. Despite the fact the were jammed with drive through and pick up orders they were awesome. My wife and I had ordered different items. I had the blackened tenders she had mild breaded tenders. The manager brought out my meal and and apologized that my wife's meal was a bit delayed. But he made things good by bringing her a few of their nuggets and the rest of her combo. Few minutes later he brought the rest and apologized. Upon leaving the staff thanked us for coming in. Great job!
We sat in the drive through for a half hour before they told us to pull up. After that we sat there watching people walk out of the inside with their food for another half hour. When we went inside they had completely forgotten about us and struggled to find out order, this was after we had payed mind you. We got our food 15 minutes later, it was cold and barely seasoned. They barely gave us any fries and the chicken barely had any real meat on it.
The food was great. But the drive-thru person didn't give utensils or napkins. Hard to eat Cole slaw (which was great) without utensils
The 5 stars is for the great food Popeyes has, best biscuits I've ever had, I happen to be from Louisiana born and raised and had the pleasure working of working for A Copeland and Stan Ware as a young lad and they were awesome to work for. Now with that being said Mr. AL passed away a good while back and last time I heard Stan still had his stores. Now never in the history of any place in the world that serves yard bird have I seen the price of chicken so high in my life. Youngest has lived here 15 of her 16 years so she really never experienced the awesome cuisine her home state had to offer, she loves KFC. So I haven't hit Popeyes in years, I drive up the drive thru glanced and had to take a double take. You remember that ad that ran on TV long ago the Indian chief on the horse they pan the camera down it shows the sides of the roads full of garbage the camera pans back up and the native American Chief has a tear running down his cheek. When I saw how much a 2 piece dinner cost camera pans back from the menu back to me and I have a tear running down my cheek. I was trapped in line I couldn't run I had to order. Are these magical chickens created by unicorns in the fairy forest if so then maybe those are expensive but don't think that's the case. So I had to order chicken damn I'll have to get to the bank early in the morning and take out a mortgage on my home now for this chicken which is great. I saw the person working the window give the car ahead of me a big box 24 pc plus all the sides and drinks, not often you see royalty here but these people had to be wealthy. The food is great its just their prices are out, definitely worth trying.
