Food is fresh, hot and tastes great! Pineapple chicken is the best, well prepared and very tasty. Be prepared to wait a while, as the one woman who takes the orders from the phone and is the cashier also acts as the server most of the time. But, food is well worth the extra wait. Very friendly and service is with a smile. They are always very busy, which speaks to the taste of the food.
I will not be returning, on the menu there’s a lunch option stating choose any 3 items listed for 8.85, due to me choosing the same item twice (2 sides of rice & one order or chicken) they’ve been over charging me although no where does it state if you choose the same item twice will I be charged extra. It clearly says on the menu, ANY 3 items for 8.85, charging people extra without clarifying I can’t choose some items twice unless I want to pay more is definitely not a good business practice.
I saw a lot of comments on the egg rolls so of course I had to try it..... it was interesting. I really wanted Mu Shu but it wasn't an option so I got mandarin chicken, it was decent. I found the little saucer for my side of rice to be annoying. I have yet to go you a Chinese restaurant and they give such a small portion of rice. Maybe they are saving rice? I just miss having a good Chinese joint to hit up. Nothing will ever compare to Jade's Chopsticks from the '90's.
Great menu and tasty. The egg rolls are amazing and I love that they have the old fashioned Chow Mein with crunchy noodles. That's hard to find these days. We will be back often.
We've passed by every now and then wanting to try the Chinese food. Tonight we finally did and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the #8 specialty, split between two people. The food portions definitely exceed what you're paying for!The Mandarin Chicken was super crispy, freshly fried - NOT FROZEN! Top marks for the fried rice and ragoons. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the Almond Chicken. I had another entree in mind and unfortunately an entree from another restaurant entirely has ruined that dish for me (Bird Nest from Pad Thai House - see that review for context). For the $10 a person ($20), the food could have been $30 and I would have been just as happy. I was surprised to see an empty-ish restaurant but this was actually kind of nice. No loud groups made for an enjoyable evening. The 4 person-staff were quick to move around (they definitely want to deliver your food quickly) and despite 13 orders during our meal, they had our food within 15 minutes.Would recommend - Support your local restaurants!
Food is decent. Some good some not so much. Ad many places like this do these days, every meat is I. A little ball of the same dough. This is not authentic, but most are not. Great sauces and great egg roll once I took the stupid batter off... it already has a shell people. Is this a North American thing?
Great pricing for a 2 person or family meal. You get a bit of everything. The employees were hustling! Food came out quickly for dine-in and to-go.
When i picked up our food the kitchen was disgusting. The food tasted horrible. Super salty, pot stickers were almost inedible, the shrimp tasted rotten, the chicken was slimy and pink in the inside, and everybody in the household was nauseous and sick. We are still sick today 24 hours later.
Best Chinese food in town! Every time we come here the food is really good. There isn't anything we've ordered that we didn't like.
We went for dinner tonight. There was no signage whether to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. No one acknowledged us when we walked in, so we sat ourselves. There were three or four other tables occupied by one or two people each. We were there for about 10 minutes before we received menus. A man and child came in 10 minutes after we did, ordered, and received their food. Meanwhile, our order hadn’t even been taken yet. We ended up leaving after waiting half an hour for our order to be taken. I understand that restaurants are short handed these days, and we were patiently waiting. But to have one table be served before anyone came over to take our order or apologize for the wait, that is bad customer service. We were finally acknowledged as we were leaving, but it was too little too late.
