I ordered the gator with fries it was 21 bucks I was a little miffed at first altho after the first bite I was in love the sandwich was stuffed too the brim and amazing the fries were fresh cut and one of the best Fry's I've had in a long time staff was polite and prompt
Meridian, Idaho shop. The take-out order process was a breeze, the staff was friendly and professional at pick-up and the food was great. Nothing against Jersey Mike's, but I think I've found my new favorite sub shop. A teeny bit pricey, but worth it!
Being a first timer I tried the steak bomb By far the best sub I have ever had. The fries compliment the sub. Alyssa suggested the cookie which was delish. We highly recommend this place and often use them at the office for catering. Yes it takes a bit longer but it’s worth the wait as they cook to order our food which is important to our group. We get Jon smith subs once a week
Will still give a five star i wont let one bad apple hurt a bussiness but the additude of the cashier was not impressive, lunch rush can be hard but you don't need to be mad at every customer that comes to the counter to order. And or then slam and toss there food on the table once it's ready not impressive. Happy that someone noticed and switch that individual to just make the food and have someone else be customer facing.
Update: 5/14. Came back because it’s close to work. Upped it from 2/5 to 4/5 now. Cheeseburger bomb was tasty but still very heavy in flavor. I think this place is good for when you need a TON of calories and/or want something rich in flavor. I’m more of a salad and shrimp gal so it’s just not my place, but that’s okay. Portions can be split for two people and cookies are delish!4/14: Subs are huge it’s deceiving because it’s but mostly dry bread. No big flavor difference in meat and veggies with subway or pita pit, and didn’t like the sub itself. Overpriced for mostly a baguette, 1/2 portion of meat, and grilled veggies.
Welp, this is one of those places you have to try while you're in town. I can understand the low ratings based off of bad customer service, but the food is amazing. I'd rather have someone know how to make a great sandwich, than to focus on customer needs. If this sounds reasonable, this is the place for you. Be patient and your taste buds will thank you.I never thought a place named as boring as "Jon Smith" would ever wow me, but give it a try.
Love the subs, service was very bad. Ordered and waited 30 min for food, went and asked them where our food was, they just handed us bags with missing fries and a wrong sandwich. You would think they would immediately fix but no they started working on door dash and seemed totally oblivious to the store full of people waiting for food. Focus a little less o. Door Dash and more on customers in store. I finally had to go back up after waiting another 10 minutes for the wrong sandwich and French fries and ask why they were not working on that, they finally made them but said gees to their co-worker as I walked off.
I had the very first crispy chicken sandwich! Very good! I will definitely be ordering it again!……and again!!!!
The steak sandwich was very mediocre and they Rave it's their best. The pastrami was good.
Using there app I placed an order for delivery. I’ve ordered delivery via this method several times in the past. After waiting an hour and a half for my order( I live 5 minutes away) I called to check on it. Was told they don’t deliver thru their own site and I would have to come pick it up. This would have been helpful information. Considering it says o the order delivery you would think someone would have called to inform me. Customer service is important even if you can’t see the customer!!! I use to love this place probably won’t be returning. Also they were very rude over the phone and had attitude when asked for a refund. They didn’t understand why since they already made it. They also insinuated that I wasn’t smart enough to have placed the order correctly.I guess some people like their food old and cold food.
