Best waiter ever always a good time at homestead
I thought this was a taproom, however bar and great food! Won't be disappointed.They are the home of the Mega bloody Marys and Mimosas. The bloody Marys were seasoned well.My Son had the PB&J burger, I had pastrami. Wow both meals were like heaven. This is now a fav of ours.
We were super excited to try Homestead. When we entered, the musician was super loud and not very good. Then, we got our poutine starter. There were hardly any fries. The poutine had a ton of gravy and the flavor was great. But, when it's on top of a handful of fries and costs $13, it's super disappointing. When we told the waitress, she just said she would tell the manager and then we heard nothing after that. After that disapointment, I got my Nashville hot chicken sandwhich. First, there was zero hot chicken flavor. Second, it was the size of a chicken tender. Very disappointing to only get bites of chicken in half of the sandwich. Definitely won't be going back there again.
Not happy with the brisket sandwich. Half of the meat was fat! terrible!
I have been searching all over the treasure valley for any restaraunt serving the "Kentucky Hot Brown" as it was an East Coast favorite. I was absolutely shocked to stumble across this on Homesteads menu but most importantly, it did not disappoint! Way to deliver West Coast (Homestead)! If you have not experienced this sandwich, its an absolute must! Bite after bite of refined melt in your mouth flavor?
Awesome food and drinks! My only complaint is it is always so busy and seating can get hard, but just shows how great they are
The Bloody Mary was more then what I was expecting. It was a meal in its self! It was very good and our server was amazing!
Everything I have ordered, food or drink, has been terrific! Love the steak salad and of course, the Mega Mary! Just wish the service was faster.
Our first time trying the establishment. Drove out from Boise. Open sign was on, however closed for patrons due to company party. Many customers were coming by and finding business closed to the public. Why not have their company party on a Sunday to be an exclusive experience. Very disappointed. In addition there was a huge chunky pile of barf on the sidewalk right outside in their bench seating area. Probably best we didn't have an option to eat there!
Service is great and food is amazing. Can’t go wrong with the potato skins or cheese sticks (which stay gooey and warm). Ventured beyond the appetizers and everything was delicious. Highly recommend the Mega mosas, too. ?
