Waited in the drive thru to be told they were out of fries. When I asked what then happens to a meal they said it won't have fries. My kid was having none of it and in full melt down mode. Seems like a substitution or free ice cream or a price reduction could have been made. We were still stuck in the line waiting to leave. At least have a sign up or have an employee go out to the entrance of the line to inform people. My time, gasoline, and patience were wasted. It cost me more to wait in line than not have gone in the first place.
I’m not sure what is happening the past few times I’ve gone to DQ but this is just sad. I used to always get blizzards for my husband and I as I have a big sweet tooth. Today I decided to surprise my husband with a blizzard and this is what they gave me. The person at the window just handed me dripping gross blizzards with no napkins and got upset when I asked for a drink holder then proceeded to slam the window and curse out loud to his coworkers that I was being difficult to him. When I asked for napkins he rolled his eyes and just kept giving me rude looks. This is probably the second time I have ever negatively reviewed any store or business in my life. I have been apart of the food business since I was a kid and completely understand people have off days or are short staffed but this is just sad to see when I ordered a simple blizzard.Oh another note is that my husband and I combined had easily over 30+ gummy worms in our blizzards. Every bite had just so many gummy worms there was barely any ice cream to eat. I have ordered this flavor before and have NEVER had so many gummy worms if my life ?
Not sure what’s happening at this location but they changed the buns, quality control is severely lacking and they continue to not get orders right. This is a flamethrower burger and there is literally 1 piece of lettuce, half gallon of sauce, soggy/ soaked bun, cold meat and the cheese isn’t even melted. My kids burgers had enough ketchup for 10 burgers. Sad to see.
My wife simply wanted a Reeses blizzard. First time she got a Butterfinger blizzard. The second time she got a cheesecake blizzard. They never got the order right. My son ordered a caramel brownie blizzard and there was crumbs in it no caramel. There seems to be a lack of quality control at this Dairy Queen go somewhere else.
We always use drive-thru. Our restaurant lobby is not open yet!But we LOVE our DQ..
I am very frustrated with Dairy Queen on McMillan in meridian. At 12:45 on Friday, March 18, my coworkers and I went to this location for lunch. Of course the lobby is closed but the drive-through is open. We went through the drive-through there were several cars in front of us and cars behind us. As each car came through we sat sat sat and then that car drove off. No one was working the window. I drove around to the front and looked into the lobby and saw four people sitting at a table eating. I am assuming those were the workers. However, there was no signs of any kind stating that they were closed for a certain amount of time so workers can eat. I tried calling and no one answered the phone. It is very poor business and as I come here often I will no longer come to this location.
I ordered an Oreo Blizzard for my son and the Blizzard looked like a vanilla milk shake. I asked them if it was Oreo or vanilla and they said all the Oreos were at the very bottom. They asked if I would like them to remake it and I said yes please. They re-blended it and it looked like a soft runny chocolate milk shake. If you want good ice cream go elsewhere. The service is terrible and the product is even worse.
Right by our house so we go often and never used to have issues. Now it seems every time if it’s after 8pm they “are out of ice cream.” I’m pretty sure it’s just that the kids working have already cleaned the machine and want to get out of there when they close at 8:30. Which..I totally get once in a while. I was a teenager once too. But this is now the third time this has happened recently (in a row) and Super frustrating when you have a car full or kiss looking forward to getting an ice cream treat. :(
