Great ice cream, friendly service.It's expensive, but that's just what good ice cream costs nowadays.Will be coming back for an ice cream cake.

Horrible customer service! So sad too because the ice cream is delicious. 4 employees behind the counter. 2 of us in line. No one greeted us. A guy finally came over and just stood in front of me with a blank stare on his face. I placed two separate orders, for me and my son. He put them in the same cup. I told him they were separate and he became annoyed and slammed down the spoon and then corrected the order while glaring at us. Then he literally tossed our cups of ice cream at us. I said, "did you just throw that at me?" He smirked and tossed the next one on the counter even more forcefullyand said "yup." I asked to speak to a manager and he pointed at the guy next to him who couldn't be bothered to look up or interject into this exchange. The manager just stands there while his employee is tossing things at the customers? Wow. I get that we're in a staffing shortage but to allow this type of behavior to represent your business and brand is so sad.
Ordered online thru Coldstone website, was notified that Coldstone canceled my order and to call the store.I called the store (on 6/6) and spoke with the manager who claimed that I didn’t order delivery thru the website, and that wasn’t part of their business. I explained that I ordered thru the website and that means it’s associated with Coldstone even if it was a partnership with DoorDash. She then got exasperated with me, and raised her voice.I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and then hung up on me mid-sentence. I proceeded to drive to the store to resolve the issue. She continued to claim that delivery was not Coldstone’s business, wouldn’t provide contact information for her store managers or owner, and also refused to process a refund when I requested it. Claiming that DoorDash had to give the refund.I then called DoorDash and they said it was a direct transaction between me and Coldstone and that they didn’t have any payment information related to the transaction, just the record that payment was received and processed by Coldstone.The DoorDash operator then attempted to contact the Meriden store and they refused to pick up the phone for DoorDash.So overall it took about 75 minutes from initial order to hanging up with DoorDash for me to not received my order, be hung up on, and not be refunded my money.
Hello everyone I fully recommend this place to hang out with friends and family members. Today was my first time coming in here but I don’t appreciate rudeness by a employee call David treating me in front of everyone to leave or get out when I’m being respectful and kind to everyone. I’m not a total liar about it and you could look at your cameras. Thanks everyone for reading my review and I would never come back again.
When we arrived, there were two small groups in front of us. While we were waiting to order, several more people came in. Only two employees were working, and they were cool as cucumbers! Working hard and fast but not stressed. Very friendly. Great ice cream as always, but I’m most impressed with the personable employees who managed the crowd well.
Found a hair in a Birthday cake, they refused refund and required me to dispute the transaction with my bank. Ashly the manager first told us that a refund would be no problem and to bring in the remainder of the cake. After doing so we were told to call and speak to the manager “Ashly” to receive the refund at which point she denied ever offering the refund and requested us to dispute the transaction with our bank. She was very rude and accused us of lying about being offered the refund.I have attached photos of the HAIR IN THE CAKE not just on the cake. I also have video of pulling it out of the cake.
We asked a simple happy birthday on a cake. They spoiled it all and then even gave it to us.My son is super upset on his birthday:( and BTW it should beHappy Birthday and not Aappy Birthday
As usual it is highly recommended! Very friendly staff! Nice atmosphere and smell and setting. Different ice-cream flavors and add-ons and cones ! I had a chocolate dipped cone chocolate and coffee icecream scoops and I added chocolate chips! It was so delicious! Going back soon!!!
Frozen Indifference:While overall Cold Stone is great for the unique number of combinations which can be selected from, this particular establishment is a blemish on the chain as a whole.As a previous food service employee, I entirely understand the struggle to provide quality customer service with a smile all day every day. This is particularly difficult for teenagers to achieve as well. Bearing these in mind, not even trying to make an effort to be generally pleasant and serve customers in a quick and efficient manner is a cardinal sin in food service overall. Every employee on the evening we were there seemed to be doing their best to avoid helping customers and taking their dear sweet time when pressed into service.The interior seating was set with a fine layer of sticky substance, as it appeared all the tables had not been cleaned/bussed since the afternoon shift took their positions.
