Thank you Boise Fry Co for allowing us to be able to celebrate our daughters sweet 16 party at your restaurant. Your staff was fantastic and so was the food .
Their name and slogan say it all; “Boise Fry Company - Burgers on the side.” I’ve been there twice now; the first time just to try a few different kinds of fries, then again for a burger. The fries were delicious and the sauce and seasoning bar is loaded with great options. I need to try a different burger from the menu though. The flavors of my blueberry habanero burger didn’t work out as well as I had hoped.
Kind staff, fun environment, and fresh options. The pico burger was my fav along with the curly fries. I loved that you pick what potato you want and then select the cut and it's made fresh to order. Then the seasoning options were fun and yummy too. The only downside for me was they didn't have diet dr pepper. Or diet coke. But there is a maverik gas station close by.
Got sick from the food, and I've got a very tough stomach normally. Entire floor was slippery and greasy. Filthiest bathroom I've seen in any restaurant in this area. Fryer grease was so dirty that my golden fries were dark brown and bitter. I wouldn't go back or recommend this location to anyone ever. I'm usually pretty forgiving but there were too many things wrong to count.
This place is dirty. Fries were terrible. Due to dirty oil. Fries looked like it was the bottom of the bag and had been left in the fryer for 3 days. Bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. this location is horrible. go to the state st. Location. It is so much better.
I love their hamburgers, toppings, fry options, and all the sauces. We enjoy going here. Sometimes they will be out of our favorite fries or sometimes one location will have a sauce that they other does not, but despite this we love the taste and will keep going for some tasty food. One of these days I look forward to trying their brussels sprouts.
Now - I consider myself a huge hamburger fan and love eating and normally enjoy trying new places. We have heard a lot about The Boise Fry company and thought we would give it a try- not sure if we caught them on a bad night, but it was NOT what we were expecting. The burger was in fact good, but very small and very overpriced for what you get. The fries were cold and soggy and the appearance was not appetizing. We tried three different kinds of fries and all were unimpressive. For a “fry company” you would think the fries would be amazing- nope! There were lots of different sauces to try and we tried them all but, in the end we went back to ketchup which is unusual for our family - we are sauce fanatics. We ordered drinks for our entire party and the soda machine was not working. The amazing part of this was they upsold us sodas when we ordered knowing the machine was out of order. The compensation to us for ordering drinks was to give each of us a can of soda for the 1.50 we spend Per drink instead of refunding us for a product that was not available. Everything cost you extra here. If you want a small burger with cheese (extra) and a few toppings (extra) an order of fries and a drink you need to expect to pay near $15 per meal. We spent close to $70 for a family of 6 including kids and shared fries. I’d recommend going to Big Judds if you are in the Boise area and are looking for a great burger and traditional fries with fry sauce. You’ll pay less and get a lot more food for your buck. Hate to leave a review like this, but we were VERY unimpressed, especially with the size of the helping and the drink issues we had. Not likely to eat here again nor recommend The Boise Fry Company.
I enjoyed this place quite a bit! They have different choices of potatoes for their fries and each one has a unique description on the menu. I tried the golden while my counterpart tried the russet as we unoriginal were looking for potato stuff in Boise, ID. Would go back and try the red fries and ask for salt next time because there wasn't any on the fries.
Good place to stop for a taste of Boise potatoes. The potato options were fun, but I would try some curly and purple next time. The burgers were small. The quinoa salad came dressed and the dressing was a bit sweet for me. They provide a nice variety of sauces for your fries. The jalapeño ranch was my favorite. The service was good and they did have some alcoholic beverage options. They also have happy hour! Would try somewhere new next time we’re in Idaho, but am glad we tried this once. Cheers ?
