Actually went next door to Janjou. Very yummy French pastries. A little spendy but worth it. They are closed now till early August. We'll be back.
Came in for dinner before a movie at the Village. Having read the less than stellar reviews from the past year, I wondered about how the experience would be. Let me tell you... Our waitress Koah and bartender David were completely friendly and welcoming!! They were cheerful to everyone who walked in the door! Our meals (Flatbread and salad) were delish! The sliding doors were open and we completely enjoyed the atmosphere, wine, and people watching! I don't know if there were staffing problems in the past, but they are certainly not the case now! A lovely prefunction to our movie! We'll do this again!
Has Larry gone away? The several times I have been in there seems to be a decline in service and quality of food. So disappointing.

Came here for a night out with friends. Staff was friendly and the waitress was very attentive. We ordered the Margherita pizza, the Spaghetti Vongole, and the Vodka Penne.We got the Bruschetta as an appetizer and it was super good. Great seasoning and loved the amount of balsamic. 9/10The pizza was very cheesy and tasted great but really lacked on the basil. I felt like I had ordered a cheese pizza. 7/10The Spaghetti Vongole says it has a white wine sauce and yet when it came, it looked as though they had forgotten all the seasoning and poured the pasta into the bowl without draining it. There was definitely no sauce.The Vodka Penne was delicious and tasted very creamy and cheesy and was seasoned perfectly. 9/10The waitress was very nice when we asked to get a different plate as the Spaghetti really was a 2/10. She was able to switch it out for the vodka penne free if charge.
We have always loved bodovino despite the menu changes and staff changes but tonight was awful. which could have made me never want to return due to one server... Christian. At first I thought I did something to offend him, but then I realized he was just mean. I will say the new manager Rick and the two long term employees were so kind. Give this place another chance if you have been blown off recently
I love this concept of self-serve wine and delicious food! It takes the pretentious right out of the wine scene and makes it accessible to virtually everyone! And moms!! You will love that the playground is right next door for your kiddos to enjoy as you enjoy wine and food with your gal pals! I highly recommend this place!
We don’t drink, but had heard they had an actual chef and hoped the food would be top-notch. I ordered the Alfredo + Chicken. The Alfredo sauce and pasta were good. The chicken was very disappointing. It was barely warm and pretty obviously precooked and refrigerated. It had no flavor and a weird texture. Service was friendly and very quick.
My husband and I went to Bodovino in Meridian. When we entered no one acknowledged us. We asked about getting a table and were told it was open seating. We took a seat and waited for 20 minutes. No one came to our table to provide menus or ask about what we might like. We finally got up and left. There were several open tables and seating at the counter so it did not appear to be busy.
Love coming here...its a great place for a date night. You do have to wait a bit to get seated. The menu has been redone as is a little spendy...but atmosphere is nice and wait staff is great!
