I was part of the team that helped open this restaurant years ago. It's sad to see The lack of business today as overall I feel like the food is pretty decent compared to other fast food joints. The big difference between this Sonic and other places is a few things. The burger construction and size is better than most places. Their onion rings when done right are incredible because they are hand made daily (if staffing permits). The patty itself is better quality than most places and it's not usually kept in a hot tray like McDonald's. It's normally on the stove top, cooked very close to order (or at least it was when I started there). My experience has been good when I go.
I ate at sonic on the 2 of may and this is what happened to my order. I can’t say that I am mad but I did wake up and it was a different season. I’m a bit concerned that the sonic employees have access to controlled substances because they definitely hit the plug for this. Honestly it looks pressed but I’m not mad. I’m just wondering if this is a secret menu item because personally I’d like to see this return? Is it a seasonal item?

Tues. April 12 long drive through time ride male server kept saying we are short staffed. Everywhere is short staffed. Bad service bad food and I love Sonic most of the time
Lately the app for ordering ahead works less than half the time. The other day when the app failed I pulled into a stall to be served only to be told there was no stall service(even with several cars parked and a gal on skates serving them). Last night was the last night I will be trying Sonic for a long while after getting the app to cooperate there was an error message. They didn't have several items for my order. So I called to confirm this. The person that answered said there was issues with the app seeing their inventory and that they had those items. We get there only to b.e told other items in my list could not be filled. Come on. Get it together folks.
Ordered one meal and 4 drinks and it took them over 30 minutes. They were mostly empty and brought out 2 other orders before mine even though I was their first.
So most of the time the stalls are closed, when you go to the window and pay 8.96 for 2 drinks, but if you could use the app it's half off and would only be 3.40
The food was fine, it filled the belly. Nothing to write home about. The onion rings are not the best I have ever had. The slushies however are fabulous. Thats the reason to stop by.
